just got my orders ill be at ft bliss texas 1st armored division,

im leaven on the 28th

now with my car heres the situation

the builder put the slider to keep slack on the timing chain but he put a double roller so it shred it up and theres plastic in everything.

im not taking it back out

and dont have time to **** with it

should i part it, sell it as is, or drop like a 350 in it and get rid of it as drivable

as it sits i wanna just get rid of it for like 3gs no idea

No need to part your car or abortionize it with a 350 over a timing chain!!!!! Sounds like frustration talkin!!! Y cant your builder fix the problem since he caused it in the first place!! There may be a way to clean it out and get it running without yanking the motor again...Someone more experienced than i will prolly chime in and tell if its possible....

I would think the time to clean up the mess would be less than installing a 350.

You may not have the time to deal with it right now but I think if you wanted it as much as you did then there's hope. It shouldn't take that long to clean everything up and would cost about the same as doing a SBC bastardation.

Might have meant a 350 Buick...I've only read some of your posts and it sounds like this car's been nothing but a nightmare for you...I wouldn't part it out, maybe you can trade it for something different?
