Thanks for the songs and the memories Blues Boy. RIP

Lenny Kravitz tweeted: "BB, anyone could play a thousand notes and never say what you said in one."

Where would rock music be without him?

A legend is gone.

We lost a great one. :(
Thanks for the memories, Blues Boy...

He was an amazing musician and great man. 15 kids to his credit and more awards than I could ever imagine receiving. He will truly be missed.

This is IMO one of the most underrated songs.
Glad I saw him in concert.

How Blue Can You Get?
B.B. King, Live at the Regal

. . . . .
I gave you a brand new Ford
and you just said I want a Cadillac
I bought you a ten dollar dinner
You said Thanks for the snack
I let you live in my penthouse
You said it was just a shack
I gave you seven children
and now you wanna give 'em back

I've been downhearted baby
ever since the day we met
Our love is nothin' but the blues
Baby how blue can you get

One thing I've noticed that's kinda bad about getting older, my legends are dying out. Are there any of the original blues legends left? The British Invasion that inherited it in the '60's and rocked it were (WAY) cool, but nothing like the Men like BB was. RIP!

The songs, the talent, the artistry is dying with legends.

IMO . . . Some of the crap they play today is ridiculous and absurd. I must be getting old.
