Guys, I am thinking of buying a set of aftermarket headers for my car soon. Who makes the best and what kind of prices should I look forward to? I liked ArizonaGN's headers. I would probably go with the mild steel and then get them ceramic coated. I think they are about $700. What other options do I have? Which flow better?

Also, I will ad this, I will not buy a set of Chinese made Ebay headers!!!! I support products with the label "Made in the USA"!!!!!

Best headers

Poston's ceramic coated. they've been on my car for about four years. No crack problems and still look great after years of happy floggings.:)

bet you say that same thing when ya buy that tv or radio for your car or blackberry or ipod shove that crap up yours! If ya want to buy headers for a higher price fine, but keep your crap comments to yourself cause thats just what it is. Probably some guy that talks **** about our troops (probably a J Kerry lover).

 .......take it easy.

Some people just like to use that saying to thier advantage and feel that they have done thier patriotic duty burns my arse, when everyone in this country knows that the above statement is true and that half the products in thier household is asian. Bet this guy didn't even vote!

ATR headers. They perform & fit great and are a proven design that is being copied by these other companies.

Bitch, bitch, bitch...............Geeze dude, take a Midol and get yourself some bon bons, maybe you'll feel better.

So let me get this straight....mr. onefastcar

Kinda sounds like you had a hard night last night and a headache early this morning. Sorry.....been there. lol

What is it you recommend? Should we buy "Made in the USA" or should we buy "Made in China"? Looks to me like you're pee'n into the wind here. Can't have it both ways...

If somebody says "Buy American", I say let them vote with their wallet. Even an old phart like me knows you get what you pay for. As for TB.com experiences:

Go with the good vendor and the good reputation. Ask questions.
Enough....end of rant....

You pay as you're heart or wallet allows i agree, but to make a comment like said previous in this day and age is just ludicrous maybe some people are stuck in the 60's and no i don't piss in the wind i'm personally not into golden showers and yes a bon bon sounds good about now.

made in the usa hahaha

Even if you do buy a tv,radio or whatever that is susposedly made in the usa. Ya ever wonder where the componets that make up that product were made? kinda sucks when ya think of it. so why preach about wether or not it's made in the usa.

it's that way with everything. So now the new questions is/ Is it assembled in the usa.

The idea of being a closed economic system nowadays is stupid. There was a time when it was necessary, but not any more. More and more countries have a global, one world economy in mind now. Borders are dropping and prices with it. You have people in China or mexico who can make the same product for 1/10 or even less, what it would cost in the US to make. But, dont assume that we're sending all our work overseas. China also has products made in the US and shipped over there. I should know because thats what we do. We design and build smart card manufacturing equipment for the Chinese govt. A Chinese GOVERNMENT contract going to a US contractor??No way!!!
Yes wayWe're also doing work for other governments in other countries soon. We have to expand our horizons and stop thinking of our little borders, if we're going to stand a chance in the future economy.
Like I said, the economy is flying around in all directions. We're not just sending out all our work. Maybe if people here would stop striking and demanding such ridiculous things before they'll even get off their dead asses to work, we'd be able to afford to make more things here. But people here are spoiled rotten and want a 401k, full dental and medical, quarterly bonuses and raises and they want all this for some ridiculous unskilled job like ditch digging. In other countries, people are thankful for what they have and will work their asses off for little, because its either that, or they and their families starve to death. Thats how it used to be here. But because people have gotten so spoiled and fat, that now we have to send out our products to be manufactured. Most of the people who complain about outsourcing are the ones who refuse to help someone at work lift a box because its not thier job description. Got a problem with that? Call my union rep ass hole! So Lame

That why I have noticed "made in the USA" is fading out. New terms like "built in the USA" are becoming more common.
Something can be made oversees but "built" here in the States.

Just a play on terms but it apparently works.

OK, so back to my first question. I dont really care about political debates. I want a product that is Made in America, that is my option. So what is the best route to go for headers? Thanks! ----Jeremy

Azgn

I saw several sets of ArizonaGN headers in use this summer. Look great and everyone said they had minimal problems on install. Seemed to do everything they were supposed to. I applaud your choice to buy from 'made in USA'. With the uneven trade agreements in place at this time, we must strive to supply our needs from within our borders. I agree that, in a equalized trade world (not NAFTA), this would be of no concern. Maybe, somday, we will be able to engage in fair trade with the Asian countries. I'm sorry to say that our politics with others does nothing to help in our ability to have a true Fair Trade Agreement. Best of luck in your search and let us know how it turns out

If we dont continue to support our vendors, we are going to have a hard time getting parts. ATR is no longer around I sure would like a set of dual 3" stainless exhaust. Pretty hard to get now. I have heard a lot of good things about ArizonaGN's headers as well. I have heard the they make it easier to access the plugs. I wonder who's flows the best? ATR, Hooker, Postons, ArizonaGN, TA's? Prices?

I apologize for startin this sh## but people are so stoic in thier comments at times and i could'nt have said it any better than vader, but its just how i feel, i wish ya luck on findin headers for yourself Jeremy and apologize if i offended you.
Lewis
I'm goin back to bon bons and a midol it don't sound to bad.
