Hello all,

I wasn't sure exactly which section to post this. I was just wondering if anyone had experimented with their Nittos (275/50/15) to determine which tire pressure on the street gave the best launches.

Thanks alot for your help.

Ravi

I like 22-25psi but these tires are like ice unless theyre hot. Much lower than 20 and the car feels squirrely

I like 18-20 psi for best traction but you can feel the rear sway some at speed. 26-28 handles great but with 7" rims I was wearing the center out faster than the edges. I know not a great concern for most, but I got 20k miles out of my first set :-).

22 to 25 psi. for decent wear pattern and decent street traction, and handling with an 8" rim both 275/60/15 and 275/50/15, yeah two cars.

18 at the track, lower than that and they get a bit squirrely, I use Hoosier QTP's there now not the Nittos. Then again they also get a bit squirrely at that low a pressure at the track.

Basically what everyone else has said.

Over 25 psi. the center wears way too fast. :(
