Helping a friend assemble his 109 motor, is the BHJ designed to be a press fit on the OEM crank ? And can we assume it will butt up against the lower sprocket properly ?
thanks,
Jim

they come slightly undersized and require honing to a .001 interference fit (press fit )
it will also need a balancer installer to install

and yes it butts up fine

thanks, and now we need to conquer the reluctor timing, right? and remove the cover and install the slinger as well.
thanks again

yep youll need to check the timing witha dialback timing gun ,i did find one that was dead on but from what i hear thats not the norm , mine was off 4 degrees (showed 32 when 28 was being commanded by fast ecu). i just ran across one that is atleast 8 degrees out the other direction , esily fixable with fast or xfi , if your on a chip like TT you need to check it and then you can have a new chip setup to correct ....or reclock the reluctor ring
