The way this year is going for you southern guy's in tsm that car is your only chance for a tsm win. :p

Has the banana taken a win this year? I mean YET? :p
The north made top three at bpg. We have won as many as the car that you said your running in tsm this year. That's right you just run your mouth about running tsm but you didn't.

All I know is I have a grudge race coming at Reynolds!!! :p :D

Impressive numbers. Not sure what the big secret is. Who keeps the best secret doesn't seem to make a difference on race day.

I hope this car & alot of other TSM cars plan on being in Noble, OK on October 17th for the annual Buick vs. Ford shootout.....

I asure you this GUY won't be there for Noble, but I know for sure he will be in REYNOLDS!!!!

I'm with you on that. It's probably one of two cars that I can think of. Those are nice numbers but unfortunately we don't race dyno numbers:p

Sorry Brick didn't mean to affend you. This is somthing that is arqued by experts all the time.

People usually dont talk about carnige on the dyno but when it happens on the track it cant be ignored. In my opinion the dyno is harder on the car because you are running the the car with the trans in the 1:1 ratio position on the whole pull. When on the track you are only in 3 rd gear for about 3 seconds on a 9 second pass.

The last time I ran our car on a dynojet the headers were glowing so hot you could see through the headers insie to the egt probes. The motor sounds so much more intense when you are inside a building at over 7,000 RPM.

Brick you may be right, this is just my opinion. One thing is for sure there is a difference between running the car down the tack and running it on a dyno.
The bottom line is tha is an impressive horse power number for a stock block TSM legal car:eek:

Sam,

You didn't offend me at all. To be honest from what I've seen and similar to what Laz stated the Dynojet will not load the car as much as something like a Mustang Dyno so basically you're getting a higher and less accurate reading which is fine if you want to go and brag to your buddies but if you want to get a better and more accurate reading put it on a Dyno that will load it down more. That way at least you are more in the ballpark of where it will be when it gets to the track. Either way, it's still a lot of power for a 109 but I will be much more impressed when it goes down the track as that is the ultimate test IMO.

Hey a pull on the dyno is less than a second at that power level .

This dyno can load the chasis. Looking at the logs, the pulls were 6-7 seconds long with 4-5 seconds at full boost. I don't like to compare dyno numbers unless they are the same car in the same tuning session. I just do a baseline, then try to improve on whatever number it starts out with.
With that being said, I can't help but compare it to other TR's I have tuned on the same dyno

Kinda like yourself? I have worked on many TSM cars over the years like yourself.
like myself have not seen you making passes in any TSM,so why are you so different as to be able to talk chit?

Since the south guys have been travelling north all these years how many north guys can we expect to make it down south to Reynolds?
Will you be participating at Reynolds this year?

Someone was building a ride and they put it on hold,
I never said I was going to run TSM,I posted "I MAY be"

Just a helper to some

Is this the new Precision Billet 70 turbo?
That seems like a lot of HP for a T70/109 on a chasis dyno, regardless of Dynojet etc.

I'd imagine this GN has a bolt together PTC converter?

Wicked runner to say the least.

Why go south when you only need 3 races for the points. We have 4 races up here. All but one are within 3 hours. The furthest one for me is in my state (Indiana) too. Figure that one out lol.
