Shane ya'll need to be crowned the king of chit talkers, how many years have ya'll said you were going to be the ones to put down the #? LOL

you know I busting your chops.

Why go south when you only need 3 races for the points. We have 4 races up here. All but one are within 3 hours. The furthest one for me is in my state (Indiana) too. Figure that one out lol.

They use your best 3 races to calculate your points, you could come south and do better and come out higher in the points.:)

It's just a matter of time. It should have been done last year. Both Dick and Don had the hp, just a couple of details stopped them. Hopefully this year will be the year.
If I remember correctly, you were just waiting on a turbo for your TSM car. Did you guys get one? Any testing/times? I would love to see another heavy hitter at Reynolds. I can think of 5-6 cars with 9.20's potential.

We "plan" on being there. Waiting on some suspension parts from Paul to go ahead and finish car... Yes turbo is handled, I am sassified:biggrin: Trying to do 2,3 cars at time is tough on a brothers pocket:cool:

I agree the power is there, no dought... You know I have been telling you for at least 3 years 8.99 was coming... It is and I know your camp has a several cars capable. I imagine there is at least one car from MI that can do it... Just has not been done yet;)

You have to show up to a legal event for it to count. Heck, I went 8's with Dick's TSM car a couple years ago. Since there wasn't any tech, we were 100% TSM legal

Hopefully, you guys can get one of your cars together and can bring it to Reynolds.

Yeah, and our Race car is TSO legal too;)

We plan on being there. I hate driving;) Why do you think the TurboBuick.com nationals is in NC:biggrin:

No, you want to put up the bank for ZMAX, 40+K? We will sign up today:wink:

You want to run Benz'os?

How much whp is required to run a 8.99 in TSM trim at 3550 pounds?

Hopefully under 805 Dynojet hp

Last year, I calculated that Dick Kereny and Don Cruz were making 926 hp on their 9.0 / 150mph passes

Haha! Or I could have just printed a pull from another car. I was over 1200hp with another well know V6 Buick car. I have also maxed the dyno with some turbo V8 stuff.

The calculator says 963 average rwhp.

I think Don passed on a great chance to put down the number at Cecil - he spent the weekend tuning and making 100-300 foot passes, then since he was the only TSM car there got a bye in the "finals" where he could have let it out on a great air day on a hooking track in front of some full stands, and instead he idled down the track. Went to Reynolds and didn't quite get it.

Something does not add up V6Racer said the same motor made 664rwhp and ran low nines however others say it takes over 900rwhp to run 8.90's. Is there something i am missing?????
