My car would roll smoke as soon as boost built so I suspected the turbo was shot but there was no residue in either housing or pipe. I compresion tested and it was suspiciously low (30#) but I think my cheapy tester was the reason for that. I have a spare I'll throw on for now hope to do an upgrade. How are you guys putting on anything other than a ta33c on. They are pricey and hard to come by....especially in the great white north.

I imagine he will hog out a stock housing? I was hoping that there might be a more affordable option that would fit without going to a 86-87 intake. I have much better chances finding other turbos than a ha specific unit close to home. The exchange is killer right now and shipping hurts. They way our shit dollar is sitting now I would be 30% exchange and I'm guessing 100 bucks for shipping. So on a 900 turbo I'm marked up an extra 300 or 400 bucks.
