Its bad enough that that they may have found explosive materials on this POS. With that said i have one question about this:

HOW THE HELL IS SOMEONE ON A USA TERROR WATCH LIST ABLE TO BOARD A JET OR EVEN MAKE IT BEYOND THE FIRST CHECKPOINT IN AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR A FLIGHT BOUND TO THE USA?

This does not leave me with very much confidence at all with the anti-terrorism security we have in place. I hope the onboard passengers beat the hell out of this bastard. I find this hard to imagine that someone on a terror watch list is able to get anywhere near a jet nevermind wind up flying on one over USA soil. This is complete BS and a major flaw in homeland security regardless of the origin of the flight.

That's just simply pathetic! It was a 9 hour flight over the G-dam Ocean to boot. It's not like you can make a pitstop between here and there to address a problem passenger.

Maybe security at the airport were trained by the Vatican Police....

I doubt anyone would do anything as stupid as that if you saw this when you boarded the flight....

They reported that he didnt try to ignite the substance until they were approaching Detroit. He never should have been on there to begin with

It's too bad the plane didn't land in China vs. the US. If a Chinese patient needed a kidney im sure the Chinese would have supplied the patient with his......

Or maybe they should have treated him like a stowaway from a train and tossed him out the rear of the plane...... It's only water down there, how bad could that feel from 30,000 feet? Too bad we didn't find out.

He will receive first class medical treatment and then will be in protected confinement until his trial 3 or 4 years from now. Then he will get life in prison. Got to be better than living in Nigeria.

OH boy. Flying this year will be a Nightmare.

Last trip I made Myself and the 4 guys traveling with me all got screened and the 4 Middle easterners in front of us traveling on Middle eastern passports went through.

Re-read your post and tell me what's wrong with it!

Glad nobody was hurt. I hate to thing of what could of happened.

unreal ... why not kill him after they are done with him ??? What a bunch of pusseys the US has become  I still can't believe this crap happened !!

Some how I think the FBI has that one covered if need be.

They don't have to read him chit unless there asking him questions pertaining to the incident. He can sit in detention for however long needed without reading him his rights if they choose to.

He will be classified as an enemy combatant.

it seems some are more interested in tracking the real citizens instead of the real threats.you would think we would be safe especially since everyones personal info is all over the place nowadays:rolleyes:

2 years ago I would agree. Not now. Ie... Khalid Sheikh Mohammed being tried in NY.

Hope you are right.

I noticed how the mainline media is downplaying this terror attack as no big deal. They do not like this to happen on obamas watch. LOL.

so whats wrong with his post?

He makes it seem like they should single out every Middle Eastern person and screen them. Who's to say that him and his friends didn't look suspect?
If the guy was on a no fly list then that is where the problem is, not what he looks like. If they screen everyone, travel times will suck and the amount of people that want to fly will decrease along with profits and jobs. Going along with Amigas way of thinking should we refuse to rent trucks to guys that resemble Timothy Mc Veigh?:o

That would be my cue to catch another plane:biggrin:

On CNN..

I noticed how the mainline media is downplaying this terror attack as no big deal. They do not like this to happen on obamas watch. LOL.

CNN, aka: The Communist News Network, had an all evening "live coverage" report w/ every commentator, "witness", expert, they could scrape up.
FOX News is reporting this am, he was not on a terror watchlist, nor on a no fly list. His name was known.

Just too bad that the young guy that jumped him, didn't tear his throat out.
Wouldn't you just love to be seated behind this a$$hole, and get him w/ your belt!!!:D
His eyeballs would be out on his shirt. Setting off another device would be the last thing on his mind!
Put him in the general population in the Detroit lockup, and see "street justice" at it's finest.

As for the prez.. The media is in violation of his orders to no longer describe a terror attack, as terrorism, but as some other, less offensive title......
