I took the rig-job of a line-lock the previous owner installed off my car. I had to unmangle the line to get everything apart and now I want to put it back to stock. Question is does GM still make the brake line with the coils coming from the master cylinder? What is the function of the coils? Would it hurt to just bend some straight lines without coils and put in its place? Anyone have a part # or know who may carry it? If all else fails I will hit up BWeavy for a used one but would rather have new. TIA

I think you would be better off with a nice used set rather than trying to bend your own. As long as they are not rusty, you should be fine.

Finelines #? or Inline tube 800-385-9452 should have the lines you need in either steel or stainless steel for a few buck more. The wire wrap was there for use as a rock guard. Hope that helps
