The Chrysler/Fiat parent company is basking in the glory with the new Demon which now being seen by the public. I am sure later this summer among the various venues at least one if not several will be at Chryslers/ Carlisle event.
By the numbers 0-60 times in 2.3 seconds, covers the 1/4 mile in 9.65 seconds without the luxury of a passenger or rear seat. A $1 extra buys them from what I read..
Among the firsts,. the Demon is the first US production car that can lift the front wheels of the ground.....in the stock format.
One can only imagine what the insurance tab would be for say a typical 25 year old even with a clean driving history.
I think Chrysler/Fiat could do a cute commercial showing their Fiat 500 spaced out on a 1/4 mile track probably better than 3/4 quarters of the way down the strip then start the Demon and watch it over take the Fiat by the quarter mile marker.
It hits 0/60 times in 2.3 seconds the Fiat 500 does it in 9.8 Demon hits 1/4 mile 9.65 seconds against the Fiat that meanders down in a whopping 17.3 seconds.
Congrats to Chrysler/Fiat. had to be a joy for any of the workers on that project compared to the ones building the Fiats......
