Call it what you want, pal.

You just reinforced what I said earlier..."All that ends up happening is an argument." Because people like you just think no one else knows anything and you are always correct. Enough said.

For the record, I don't like monday night football. and I am finished replying to this thread. Have a nice life!

I agree 100%. It just promotes ill will in the turbo Buick community. All I wanted to do is block them from new posts on my own personal desktop... no one elses ...and it creates a backlash from some polarized radicals. They even spew their hate on the non politcal threads like this.

Dang the first time I checked this post there were no replies. Anyway thanks for taking the gallery off the main list. For those that don't know, even if you clicked on it to minimize it, it would still return on your next login and it will still slow down the page upload. The ability to turn such things off in the user CP would be fantastic. This way the people who live in civilization and have the luxury of fast internet can have the pics there if they want. Sorry if my request was an inconvenience to anyone else.

In regards to the political forum, I agree 100% with the idea that you should be able to opt out of it altogether. This way the posts don't show up on the new posts list. My personal opinion of it is that all it is good for is splitting the community apart. There is no chance, i repeat, NO CHANCE that anyone in there is ever going to sway anyone elses opinion about a given political/religious topic. All you get is people taking sides, and then if person "A" on the right has a question in the tech section, person "B" on the left is going to think "He's an idiot, I'm not helping him fix his car". Also person "A" might not trust the info from person "B" because "He's an idiot". All that aside, this IS a free country (with free exchange of ideas) and if Shane wants it on HIS website then that is his choice. The best option, though, would be to make it a forum you have to subscribe to in your user CP. If you don't subscribe, the posts don't show up anywhere on the site. It was done on T6P back in the day for Super Off Topic, and can be done here also. Just do it. Then everyone's happy and the subject won't be hijacking other people's threads.

Thanks again.
