Just got my Casper's CCCI hotwire kit and it looks great. I'm glad I didn't do the homemade solution because this looks very well made and easy to remove.

I have always had a problem with my spark blowing out at anything past 22psi and am hoping this will solve that problem. Has anyone used this method and gotten rid of that problem?

I'm using Autolite 23's with a .028 gap with a stock module and coil pack, relatively new.

wow thats crazy.... i have NGK UR5's, stock Coil, and module [BOTH AC/Delco], and MSD 8.5 super conductor wires.... plugs gapped at .032 and have run upwards 25-27.... i remember blowing the spark out at .035.... i wonder if something else is wrong. Bad Module or coil.... i am Definitely not knocking John's products [as i am installing a Hotwire kit today] but i think you have other issues that need to be addressed instead of bandaged.... let's see what one of our super-moderators say...

Not crazy. I just have a lot higher cylinder pressure, even at the 21psi. There is more to it than just boost. My MPH is 123.

I am running a 9.6:1 stroker and have no problem with spark blowing out at .028-.030 gap. Stock coil and module. I would imagine my cylinder pressures are a little higher than yours.
Do you have someone close to you that has a coil and module you could borrow for testing?

Fair enough. I'm gonna try this hotwire thing first and then if that doesn't work, then I'll buy brand new AC Delco stuff.
