No problem Michael.
Bison's shown an many occasions of examples where less sometimes yields more if you are better at picking matched parts and tuning.

How many out there with bigger turbos like a 45A that are wowing about finally getting a 10.96 run. I am quite proud of my accomplishments with my little ole PT54. And my wastegate was weak and I couldn't get above 24 Lbs boost. I was hoping to hit 28, maybe 30 Lbs that day. I wanted a 60, maybe a 50 with some good tuning.

I am glad that we have this board to help, share and receive advice. Our community is far superior to any others that I know of.

Thanks all !

I am alway in awe of the threads where someone took something so small.... and did great things with it.

Example: TinMan running a 10.9x with a TA49. That is so awesome. Ed Brewer running 11.30's with a stock turbo on an unopenend longblock. Tim Stockwell running 10.60's back in the day with a stock unopened motor.....

IMHO these are all milestones within the respective parts they did it with.

Inspirational for sure.... don't you think?

Your results with a PT54 are commendable as well.....

Absolutely !

Thanks, but the guys you mentioned have done so much compared to what I have. I just like the idea that I can do a lot with so little. I am looking to get a new turbo in the future to push me faster yet. And the funny thing, I said that all I wanted was to get into the 10's.

Jerryl, what does The BP oil spill and Venezuala have to do with ported heads?:D . . . . . .
By the way, Beamer, where do I get a set of those "G" heads you are talking about? They sound like they are pretty cool. 400cfm is almost as good as the old Kenne-Bell ported heads they use to sell. .... :p

Well, if I had access to 1% of allocated funds , in cash, used for the cleanup, I would have one of those stock iron/stock valve 400CFM heads.

Back to the trhread. ;)
I did a TTT of this trhead for the OP to review.
Thanks again to Turbo1dr for posting the info!
