Could someone explain step #3 from gnttype.org on checking the powermaster motor for me? I have a volt/ohmmeter but know nothing about checking electrical circuits. I don't understand motor "A","B","C","D" continuity, resistance, etc. Am I checking where the plug plugs into the motor or the plug itself? Sorry for the ignorance. Thanks, R.B.

Youre checking motor plug. meter should read resistance between terminals B and D. meter should read open between terminals A and C. If these readings fail then motor is bad. to check harness with ignition on,terminal A should show continuity to grd. terminal B of harness should show 12 volts to grd with ignition on. Terminal C should also show 12 volts to grd w/ ignition on. If no reading at Terminal C check 30 amp fuse.

I believe the motor is shot. I put the pressure switch and accumulator from my GN on the T-Type and still nothing. When I turn the key on the brake light stays on and the peddle is hard as a rock. Fuse is good. Anybody got a good motor laying around?

Contact Hank Terry as he has in stock brand new PM motors for $149.95 shipped. I just confirmed with him for a friend in need. PM me if you want or need his email addy.

Check your AC fuse. This gives power to the powermaster, heck, check em all. Check to see if your car has a inline circuit breaker right at the motor, buddy of mine had a small silver circuit breaker that looked factory, went bad and wouldnt allow his system to work.

I have a powermaster for sale in the parts for sale section, check it out.
