Hehe, now that I have your attn...
Sorry no pics:( :(

Well I bought a 60/40 bench seat Limited ,and was thinking about leaving the colum shift and installing buckets and a consul(sp)
but instead of having the shifter inplace and the plate that says D N R 1 2 3 ,have BFH make a blank so I can install some gauges in the blank ,not sure what gauges ,,anyone have any pics of this or additional ideas,thanks---dont be bashfull if you think I sould sh!t can the idea....;)

I don't like to see every TR get modded. Some need to be left alone to a degree. One of the nicest is a buddy's and its silver w/ maroon interior, it has the 60/40 seats, column shift, factory radio delete, does have AC and has run 11.8's with stock turbo, stock ic, etc.. Very rare car and very nice!

I'm easily swayed------------Keeping it stock,,just for you ...

I do not necessarily vote in favor of leaving it stock, but I do cast my vote in favor of leaving in the bench seat and column shift.
The '87 turbo-t that I currently use for a daily driver is equipped with the bench and column, and I prefer it that way for a car that will be driven a lot. You will find that it is more comfortable that the bucket seat arrangement. I think that once you get used to it, you will prefer it over a bucket seat for a driver. Bucket seats might look cooler, but they are not near as comfty.
Good Luck

Great news ,,I like comfy:D :D

My 86 Regal Limited Beater I had this yearw as bench seat and man those seats are nice... its like driving to work while sitting on your livingroom couch.. My vote is to keep the bench seats..

well..

(A) how hard/costly is it to experiment, you can always go BACK to the bench seat,
(B) how about HALF a console, just whack off the jockey box, install only the forward half for the gauges...a piece of trim (or should I say "a trim piece"?) for the whacked end wouldn't be a biggie!
(C) (or am I gonna be crucified for suggesting someone hack up a console??)

;)
