In all honesty, I feel offended. With that said, please continue to post whatever you like because this a free and open forum. Unless of course the moderators have a different idea.
There's a distinct difference between forgiveness and moving on with your life. For a long time I would get really upset and felt a lot of hate but that is all behind me now and I lead a happy life. Forgiving gokada isn't so easy and I don't think it's something that should be expected of me. What he did was an intentional act of treachery. It wasn't an accident or circumstance. It was pure stealing for personal gain. If you want to quote god, isn't "Thou shalt not steal" one of the commandments? And I'll repeat this story again - Gerald looked me in the eye on the grounds of his church and told me he would give me back my money. When I confronted him at Starbucks he said that he went there a lot for bible study.
As far as "Going Fast with Class", I'd say this is a pretty classy bunch. Others would be going after Gerald with baseball bats. I haven't even heard of anyone even trying to take him to claims court yet.
If you would like to forgive everyone on your own terms that's fine but please don't expect everyone to do the same. I personally don't want my daughter living in a world where all the Geralds, murderers, and rapists run free and forgiven.
