Concern with ordering from Precision Turbo

I called and ordered a $24.00 spring for a blow-off valve. I gave my address and credit card information. The guy then insisted that I give him my drivers license number!!!!! Has this happened to anyone else? I have never been asked EVER to give my D.L. # when placing an order for parts with any vendor.

They may have been burned by someone saying they were in your area. I have heard of other places holding the order to ensure they didn't get a call saying "fraud alert" after it was shipped.
