im looking at some data logs and im trying to figure out whats going on here. converter is a 2800-3000 flash lockup unit.. Converter is being locked at 90mph around 5350 with no noticeable drop in rpm. Rpm's kinds hang where its locked up at 90 to about 102mph then it starts to climb again. anyways thanks for the help

Data logs are as follows

1-2 shift---5400 @ 21mph
drops to 4650
2-3 shift---5450 @ 50mph
drops to 4650

trap around 5850 @ 117

this is locked. whats up with this?

At that MPH, and that rpm, it does not sound as if the converter is locked.
I would expect to see 5200-5300 at most. (if that)

Your converter is not locking. What type of solenoid is in the trans? PM me your phone # if you want. Im in HB on vacation right now.

converter lock fine on the street. im running the HD lockup selonoide from bruce at pts. if you look at a log without locking it you can tell its not locking. if you look at a log with me locking it the rpms will hang in that area of lock for a few then it will climb. i guess i can use a manual switch on the aldl to double make sure. bison, pm sent. call me anytime 24/7 i work some weird hours so im always up
