With the hot air detent cable on an 86-87 set up, the pin doesnt pop out when trying to adjust it. I know they have different part numbers and I havent compared the two but whats the difference? After measuring the length of the hot air cable with the pin push all the way in, it pulls the TV valve all the way open at WOT. I'm wondering if these can be made to work? Anybody using a hot air TV cable on an Intercooled set up? ----jeremy

Anybody measured these and compared pressures?

When I did my conversion, I matched up my 84 with an 87, and honestly they were identical. I thought the 87 would be a tad longer. Maybe one of them was not what it seemed...

I'm curious if anyone esle has noticed a difference? The only thing I've noticed is that the adjustment doesnt pop out when I try to set it. So I'm thinking there is a slight difference somewhere. But, id does hold full pressure on the TV valve when WOT.

can anybody varify this for me so I dont burn up my trans. Am I off on my measurements?

i have both, i have also run both on my car with no difference that i can tell

I used the 84 & 85 cables when I added on the IC's
and they work just fine on my 84 & 85. HTH
