samsung
it's a decent brand, but then again me and my wife only have sony branded anything in the house. i swear if that made a fridge we'd have it. she just brought home a 50ish inch flat from her work and we put it in the living room. had the cable tech out and he was like wtf is with all the sony stuff. told him we prefer it, then again we had a sony that was given to us by a freind because the tube was out ( projection tv ) and we had it replaced 2 x's afterwards. the tv repair shop rep said that these models had this problem alot. so it really depends on what it is, some people like samsung and i can completely understand about tech support. when you call the customer service you get some guy who can barely speak english and you can't understand him anyway. guess that's what you get when you subcontract your tech support to some 3rd world country.
when i worked for radioshack in corporate sales we had our guys go over seas and tell us about warehouses the size of 10-15 football fields and each had assembly lines running the length of them. this warehouse produced phones, this was when 900mhz wireless phones were in and were going to 2.4gig. anyway our rep told us the only differance between alot of models was the parts inside. you could walk the warehouse floor and see panasonic, sony, motorola ( when they made those home flip phones ) and just about any other brand in there side by side. the only differance was the specs that your people wanted inside and features your company personnally requested.
