Went on a 200 mile trip today and about 75-85mph GN has a nice rumble in the driveline. Here's my list to check.

Trans output bushing..orginal at 76,xxx miles. I did not change it when I built the trans.
Driveshaft itself...original
U joints...they are tight
Transmount..it is new
Tires/rims....installed and mounted by me. Michelins up front BFG out back roadforce balanced also.
Bent axle...have not checked runout.
rear gear...all stock and no noise.

Anything else.?

This is not the 1st G body I have seen this on. Under 75 is pretty good 55-60 is nice

All rear suspension bushings are stock,as well as swaybar.

Bilstien shocks
Stock replacement springs.

Do NOT feel anything in the wheel.

'rumble' meaning a vibration? Or a rumble as in a wheel bearing noise? A few years ago mine had a 'rumble' and I discovered that the carrier bearings where shot, and the front wheel bearings were on their way out too.

not bearing noise...i have been all over the car..including opening the rear...front wheel bearings.

Take the drive shaft loose from the rear and re seat the u-joint mine has done this a couple of times
