Anyone have any feed back on your Ductile Hydraulic Roller Camshaft? How do they wear? Anyone had one to fail, etc.? Thanks, Howard.

Ductile Roller

I have run one in a BBC with no problems at all. Comp Cams does alot of the Extreme Energy Rollers out of iron cores. You will have to adjust spring pressure accordingly. Running springs designed for a steel core will likely wipe out the cam.

Ductile rollers are in use in thousands of engines these days. Many have been in there for many years

I havent seen excess pressure cause trouble(within reason), but it's amazing the damage weak springs can create when lifters start bouncing off lobes, flat tappet or roller.

Kevin.
