Dusty Bradford did what?!!?

I bought PTC converter from their rep ,Dusty (10" 3000 stall), for my new 6776bb turbo. It developed a leak from the shaft area weld after a few miles. It was spraying all over the place.

I also felt the converter was a little too tight for the turbo...it would not build boost too well from the footbrake. Dusty told me to take it out and send it back. I shipped it last wednesday and got a brand new restalled converter this Wednesday. Dusty stayed in constant communication via PM and his cell phone and made sure the guys at PTC did a quick turnaround for me. I just installed the converter this afternoon and plan on driving it tomorrow. (Its raining)

If anyone wants to deal with a genuine Buick guru who knows converters send him a PM and he will galdly help you. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was taken care. He even called me twice from his family vacation! I own a business and we make mistakes and we have problems with our merchandise so I understood completely that stuff happens. The manner in which this problem was taken care of shows what a class act Dusty & PTC are.

Thanks for your cooperation. I know it's a PIA to take one out and send it back. That's why our goal is to get it right the first time. I knew you wanted it back quickly so everything worked out in our favor I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I was not happy to hear it was leaking. Luckily, you understood things occasionally go wrong and we worked through it.

PS....don't tell the wife I did some sneaking around to call

I guess without your advice I would have bought my turbo and converter at Pepboys.
