Dusty wins EZ Street @ ORSCA Race 9-20-2008

It looks like Dusty was doing very well this weekend.
He won the final round with a 5.08 @ 145.82 to a 5.32 @ 136.
In a fast field he qualified 4th with a 5.04 @ 146.48.
Not too bad for a 3550lbs car, with the stock suspension and 325 Drag Radials.

This was the continuation of an earlier Race (may?) that got called due to noise regulations at the track. The finals of the October race is today

Dusty still in it just talked to him down to 4 cars now. I think he can pull it out.But henderson is runing strong .

Dusty went out in the semis against Chad. First run they had a killer tune it it and it rattled the tires.

Second run was against Gary White. Throttle cable broke on the mustang and and he spun again. Ran about a 5.26.

Semis he ran at 5.16 but Chad ran a 5.05.

Thanks guys. Great weekend. I just didn't put enough power in it for Henderson who's a good friend of mine. Last time we ran I put too much in and spun the tires and it wasn't a race. This time I knew he had ran a 5.06 in the last round. I had a strong tune in the car during the heat of the day and spun so I backed it down a little against him. It was a great side by side race with his 5.06 to my 5.13. Overall though the car made 11 passes this weekend and only suffered a killed plug on 1 pass. Consistently running 5.0's and low teens, couldn't ask for anything better.
