That motor came out of one of those n/a 87 GrandNationals. A rare find. Ebay is a way for people to sell junk and advertise it as treasure.

I sent a guy an e-mail about a GN for sale on ebay for ****s and giggles asking him why his "rust free" GN seemed to have rust bubbling in the lower left hand corner of the trunklid where he took a close up of the 3.8 sfi emblem. Here is his response "appears to be just surface bumps bottom edge of trunk lid. looks like 3 hard little bumps. been there for years. never gotten worse or come thru paint. no other rust on car."

Uh the bumps are on the surface because it is rusting from behind dumb arse. Gotta be careful! I don't think I would EVER bid on a car on ebay unless I could go see it first.

Actually, if you read the guy's description, it says that it is a long block for sale and also says he put it in his '84. Maybe it is a legit '87 109 block, 8445 heads and turbo crank longblock that just has a N/A manifold on it in the picture.

He still should have been more specific though.
