It wasn't notorized and the lein release was a seperate letter from the bank.
Yes, I screwed up on the registration, should have done it but I didn't based off past experience. (showing cop bill of sale and been let on my way).
Major issue here is the misrepresentation of the vehicle however.

Well if you didnt like the condition of the truck, you could of said no deal? Thats what i did after buying a GN off Ebay in MD, i drove over night to drive it home, gut said it was in perfect shape. Got there, the car was taping, and smoking, and the paint look good on pic but in person they had painted over the rubber on the windows. Anyway, theres no need to keep bickering, you got the truck, and Its over once you drive off. I told the guy i didnt want the car, and i got my money back, i never move the car. If you want i will buy it for what you got in it if its got the orginal eng, and trans.

He offered the money back, you said no... the end..you came on and voiced your concern, the add really wasnt as stated but oh well its done deal still not a bad friggun deal even if you have to sink 3 grand more into it 10k is not bad so its done

Explain to me why you took the truck if it were misrepresented? You looked it over before driving it off just as I did before I listed it, you obviously saw it for the same condidtion I did or you would have told me I had misrepresented it....wouldnt you?
In Iowa, you can legally drive a vehicle for 3 days after the purchase of it as long as it is insured and you carry the bill of sale and title both of which need to be signed by the seller and the buyer.
So far on my card I have INTMD8 way ahead on points. INTMD8 has had him on the ropes this whole bout. EightSecV6 is going to have to score some knock downs or a knock out blow to pull this one off. Right now it isn't looking good for him.
I also keep seeing posts of you still got a good deal and such. The deal doesn't matter if the vehicle wasn't as advertised. He made 'the deal' based on the description and it appears that the vehicle did not match the ad.

True, but this question still needs to be answered. Did the seller know about the rust when he placed the ebay ad which said it had no rust?
INTMD8, I totally see where your coming from, the big problem here is that the truck was misrepresented THATS THE ISSUE and people are just saying all this crap about the laws and it being towed, thats not the issue. Nothing else but it was misrepresented, id be pissed too because honestly its bull. Good luck with everything.

I represented the vehicle to the best of my ability, the buyer agreed with the condition when he personally inspected it and drove it away, if he did not I surely wish he would have said something at that time but he did not. I took the truck in trade and it did not show any signs of repaint, vibrate etc when I drove it, I would have not listed it as I did if I thought any of this were not the truth.

Thank you sir, that's exactly the point I'm trying to make. If I had just made a post stating the vehicle was misrepresented than Bill would have brought up everything else anyway so I just got everything out in the open.
Here's where I screwed up-
1. Trusted seller based on description and reputation.
2. Did not register vehicle previous to driving.
3. Did not closely inspect vehicle before leaving the shop.
None of those things I screwed up would have changed the fact that I bought a truck based on a description that's a complete lie.
Lets say I got the title ahead of time, worked through those issues and had it registered in my name, then went to pick it up and noticed all the rust. The whole situation is screwed anyway.
Or what if I did mention the rust and said I didn't want it? I still have to get a cab ride back to the airport and get raped on another ticket and then hope to get a refund (minus travel expenses $$$).
While in this deal I made mistakes what it all comes down to is Bill lied about the description of the vehicle and it is unusable to me as I was planning an engine swap not a frame off restoration.
Quick6- Yes, it was supposed to have original paint except for the hood (which was horrible). Bumper was repainted along with the grille and drivers front fender. There is primer overspray on the drivers door from the fender repaint. There are many more things I could point out that were misrepresented but the big one for me is I wanted a rust-free body to start my project. I honestly wouldn't have cared if the engine blew up as I pulled in the driveway as long as the body had no rust. "ABSOLUTELY rust free" means just that to me. Nothing else.
I would suggest you inspect a vehicle before making up a false description for it on ebay. Certainly you can't believe this- "There is ABSOLUTELY no rust anywhere that is very common in these trucks"
That statement alone shows you are aware of rust issues in these trucks but this one ABSOLUTELY has none.
You offered a refund which would still make me lose 2 thousand dollars and did not even respond to my emails that described the vehicle and how you misrepresented it.
Yes I left you bad feedback. It stated "Vehicle condition was entirely misrepresented. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AS DESCRIBED!!"
Which is exactly the truth and you deserved that feedback. This post would not have been made if you didn't leave me negative feedback which was not deserved. (which is the reason for the time gap between the deal and now) I did nothing to screw you over as you've done to me.
