Im curious whatyou guys think about them? I think them things make the TB sound bada**...Does it give any hp or tq added? WHen i get my TB i plan on gettting one of these asap... Like to know hjow you guys feeel about em.. ANd if members have it on there car how do they like it?

ANy members have a video clip of the car running with the dumo open then closed or vise versa?
 
There has been research that shows you can go just as fast with a well flowing exhaust system as you can with a open dump. Cars are going 9s with an exhaust system.

Now...If you want to make a bunch of noise and hear the turbo...that is a different story...open dump it is.
 
i love mine, doesn't seem to make the car any faster, but it's a nice add on to the car.

get the "race ready" cutout, it's f'n great because it can go partially open,
so any volume, be it 2db more than stock, or loud as ****, is all within reach.
 
I hope on your list of "gotta have" for your new TR is a scanmaster. Cut-outs sound crappy when the car doesn't run or spits out a headgasket.
 
Yea i basically just wanna have it to open up once in awhile and possible win a race before it even starts haha.. And yes i do plan on buying a car with scan master working already.. Hopefully atleast.. It was something i always liked on the cars... jus wanted a owners perspective on it...
 
Freind picked up a little over1.5psi of boost with the electric cutout open and this was with an ATR single shot exhuast. Car spools faster as well.
 
Have one, looking forward to getting rid of it when I figure out which ex. system I'm getting. No rush. It's there, it makes alot of noise with the flip of a switch.
 
Just got back form a run into town. Saw a very fine women jogging...reached down and opened dump. She noticed:cool: I have the QTP from Summit. Can run it open or partially open just enough to hear the turbo. When sealed, it is dead quiet.

I gained over 50 hp on the dyno by opening up mine on my twin turbo camaro,but I had Flowmaster and they "Dont flow" with turbo cars...I went with magnaflows but have not tested them on the dyno yet...With my GN I went 12.6,then opened them up and went 11.9(but I gained 4 psi also)...Again im working with Flowmasters on it also...When they are open you can really hear the turbos whistle...But I guess if your flowing fine and you have tried to run with the pipes open,its all up to you if you like to mess with people...I like doing Harley drive by's myself..At least when my vehicle is making noise its actually fast unlike the noisey harleys..
 
I sold the two kits I had for my turbo cars ... I heard they leak WAY too much causing street performance loss.

I would rather have consistant performance every time I drive vs anything else ---
