2.1 60 ft on street tires & 17 psi boost with 13.8 1/4 mile.
If I get 28x9 m/t slicks, how much will that alone help me in my 1/4 mile time?
I'm thinking maybe 12.9 or low 13.

I don't know if you will knock off a full second but your 60' are pretty bad so they should help.

Any reason that you are only running 17 PSI? Race chip, race gas and boost will have you :D

What were your scan tool numbers for the run? And your MPH?

What are you running for tires now?? With your setup I'd just go with a MT ET Street Radial. With decent suspension it's nothing to cut low 1.6x's & even better with more suspension tuning & stall.

They say every tenth in the 60 foot that you can remove is two tenths in the quarter... im sure its not an exact science or anything, but I have found it to be true for the most part, at least in that ET range...

so if you can go from 2.1 to say 1.7 (which should be easy) you should .7-.8 off your ets.

Work on your launches though, I got my car down to a 1.8 60ft with BFG Radial TAs! (NOT SLICKS>>> NOT EVEN CLOSE)

I'm only running 17 psi because I want to max out my combo for a street tune for now. When I get the slicks, I'll raise it a little with 104 octane. Later when cash is more abundant, The alky kit will be on.

I have 245/60/15 bfg street radials. I know they suck but they last forever. Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping around 19 psi boost and slicks might get a 12.9.

with the setup you have slicks and alittle more boost a good 60 foot and some tunning you can get a 12.9 for sure.

yes your looking at 8.2 tenths in the quarter so maybe a 12.98 at 104 to 106 that setup should bring you a very low 11 or high 10 with some fuel and timing
