With auto theft on the dramatic rise at our events and criminals being brazen, we will have to step up efforts. I will be going over more details with track manager of NTR (Jim Layton)to case out all possible avenues to make it the most secure and safe event site and even go above and beyond what we are doing at this time. Which by the way we have had compliments on the safety issue as far as being a safe, clean and secure site. Liability is the name of the game, but preparation is also key as well.

Since I dont know everything, I am always open to site security suggestions and ideas and reasons to improve because you may have better outside the box thinking than me. So feel free to contact me at 216 470 8844 or email me at trose231@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in '12 at Columbus! Happy Holidays!

Well lit location. On site security. And no one leaves with a car after certain hours. If you can get off duty LEO to help out, that would be even better.

For relatively quick verification at the track, consider printing serialized event stickers for the windshield of each vehicle. Print them in pairs so that one is stuck to the windshield, the mate stays in the owner's wallet. No match at the gate, no exit.

Well if someone wants to pay for me to go on vacation I'll bring my CAR-15 and a couple of sidearms to help at the hotels.

Come the first of the year when i go on the PR bonanza for the event, I will be discussing options of LEOs being at the track and even at hotels as well. Ill be broaching some ideas on here very soon so keep an eye out. Keep the input coming. Preparation is everything!
