RC cars are real big in my area. Never got into it really. Cars go for 350 atleast. Pretty cool. but just not my cup of tea

I race dirt track. On road is pretty cool but not as fun imop

i had a jatto 3.3 recently had it almost @ 88 mph my buddy has one that goes 100+ there fun but just like any hobby they are expensive

I have several. hpi dessert truck, Traxxas Stampede with awd brushless set up, traxxas EVO. They are a blast.

I grew up with them in the 80's. Had a Schumacher CAT, Clod Buster, JRX2, Optima Mid, Avante, too many over the those years.....

Now I run short course trucks with my daughters. The hobby was nearly dead for a while but man did it make a comeback. Not nearly as good of a driver as I used to be that's for sure!

I have a Jato 3.3 the thing does wheelies its awesome it does 70-80mph out of the box. The first time I saw one was on youtube jumping a ramp over a house and still driving with no broken parts so after that I had to have one. The thing is undestructable nothing breaks on it.
Ive also owned a Hpi rs4-2 street car but i was limited were to drive . The Jato is all terrian and the fastest gas powered rc you can buy so Ive been told.

I have 2 RC10 T4 but I have been messing with helicopters lately.

At one time hobby scale R/C's were my drug. At one point I had my race truck, a Losi XXX-T (easy $800 sunk into it & all the support gear)

2. T-maxx (nitro monster truck)
3. E-Maxx (electric monster truck)
4. Traxxas Nitro Ruster
5. Associated electric TC3
6. Associated nitro TC3
7. OFNA 1/8 nitro buggy
8.Losi Mini-T
9. Traxxas Nitro speedboat
10. Associated RC10GT nitro stadium truck

Yea, I had stupid money tied up in the dumb things. And when you go to sell them, you're lucky to get 1/4-1/3 of what you have in it.

I raced the XXX-T every Saturday afternoon at one track & again Saturday night at another track. Both indoor carpet stadium tracks. It was a blast and did very good at it. I tried racing the electric TC3 car a couple times, but just couldn't get the hang of it for some reason. I was a smooth driver with the truck and made few mistakes, but those damn 4wd cars are a whole different breed. You have to be dead-on perfect with a car, zero margin of error. It really is a fine skill those guys have that race touring cars. Alot of people think that because they have drove a $30 POS R/C from Wal-Mart, how hard can it be.

I sold everything off & stayed away for about 5 years, but just like any addict, I got hooked again. Not as bad this time, but I now have an Associated MGT 8.0, and a Losi Mini SCT. No desire to race anymore, but it's still fun to beat around the yard or chase the dog.:D

I spent my share of cash on these things
I had an Rc 10
wild willy jeep javelin
big bear
jack rabbit 1/4 scale
nitro 4 tec
vanning
thunder tiger buggy
revo
Still have a ofna hyper 7 and the nitro 4tec
They are fun but they are big money
I had a couple boats one was a 1/4 scale cat very fast .
When I bought the boat I wanted to hear it run but it was winter time.
The guy said we could start it in his tub so we did and it blew all the water out of the tub and his wife was pissed. My buddies 25ft baja with a 502 could not keep up with it.
I had it in the fox river and the water patrol/ dnr said to take it out of the water because it wasnt for model boats.

OK,

Here is my list
Thunder Tiger 50 size Heli (My favorite)
HPI Savage 1/8 scale truck
Traxxas nitro V converted to 3.5cc power
Ofna Hyper 7 Buggy 1/8 scale highly modified(Sold)
Traxxas T-Maxx(Sold)
Team Associated RC-10(The original, and long gone)
Grasshopper(Long gone)

Some other misc ones that I can't remember

I've had a ton of cars/trucks.....and the one currently I don't think can be trumped. It's a HPI savage xp and has 1/5 scale bead locks and tons of mods..it is just uncontrollable. At half throttle I can blip the throttle and it does a double back flp and keeps on trucking. Longest jump where it landed and still kept going was 72'....but it is an expensive hobby for sure....lol

hello; I watched that video and those are some very very good drivers. If you tried it you know what I mean. Also those are 10th scale running 10 minutes. There bats. have to be super. I've been out of that hobby for quite a while so maybe there have been improvements in bats. But the narrator sounds like one of the broadcasters I watch in the grand prix MC racing. Now those guys got some talent.
have fun boys and girls

I had a nitro Rustler, nitro Revo with a JR XS-3 pro radio.

Now I have a electric Bandit. I prefer the nitro just because I can just refill the tank and go. I don't have to recharge batteries but I went with electric because that is what my boys wanted.

My neighbor is retired now and he has the bug. Here is the list of cars he has and these all have been bought in the last two months!!!! All electric.

1. Stampede
2. Stampede VXL
3. Traxxas Boss 302
4. Traxxas rally
5. Revo 1/16th
