Ceramic coating is a Wonderful way Not to rot/rust out a mild steel exhaust as an alternative to spending the Xtra $$$ on a SS system as well.

No offense, but it will rot from the inside out, the ceramic will only work if you coat it inside and out.
Gasoline engines produce alot of water, it collects at the lower portions and will eventually rot out the mild steel.

Our stock stainless steel headers are cheap SS and will rot out if you wrap them with headerwrap.

So you are saying that i can purchase a 2 1/2 SS system minus mufflers for 399.99 x .70 (30%) = $279.50 plus shipping???

How much is shipping 200.00??? LOL just kidding...

Would everyone be up for 2 3/4 instead of 2 1/2????
MY white limited is up for a exhaust system, 2 3/4 would be nice, is that available???

No offense taken!! But all of my stuff has been coated inside and out and I wouldn't know why someone would only do the outside? About $12 a foot in and out and it looks Great!! You can coat muffs and Cat. These coatings also come in many colors but I like the chrome like silver the best!! FYI, for you guys wanting bigger thinking bigger is better? Exhaust gases become more dense as it cools and you DO need some back pressure!! I think unless your running an all out racer without the comforts of things like AC you don't need anything larger than 2 1/2in system. You will be dissapointed in the performance and hate the sound!!

How to Order.

Probably the best way would be to have your guys call the shop.I'll let the receptionist know that they will be phoning and placing orders. We will take thier order and info so we can contact them when the order will be ready to ship.We can wait untill we have 10 orders and then ship/charge them that way they can all get the full 30% discount. How does this sound? I think this will be the best way to go. Just have your guys tell the receptionist that they are part of the club(TURBOBUICK.COM member) and she will know what to do.Sound good? Won't the back pressure come from the muffler that we choose?

Does anybody know approx. how much shipping to the continental U.S. would be?

Crazy...Muffler-tech is only 10 minutes away from my place, didn't know he was selling exhaust for our cars. He does some pretty nice work from what I have seen in the past. I am in the market for the SS 2.5" but won't have my car on the road for a couple of weeks, I will take my car down to his shop and have him install it, take a few pictures and post how it fits.

Hey Scott, Did you plan on using restrictive muffs? Most guys don't so the restriction would come from the size of the system and I doubt if they make restrictive 3in muffs? If your car is going to be basically a daily driver I think you would be dissapointed in all asspects of a 3in system, but thats just my opinion, ask a few others? A 3in DP and 2 1/2in system will handle 450HP of street power. Also, usually it's the muffs that will rot/rust before the system so you have to buy SS muffs as well, price them yet? I have spoke to many GN owners with mild steel and especially aluminized that last a very long time in snow zones.

mild steel and aluminized are 2 different animals ... mild steel does not hold up here in New England . I have had these cars since 86 ... all of mine have eithier a single 3" or the dual 3" and work fine . these are everyday driver's .. only low-mid 11 on drag radials .. ya we drive a fleet of them in the snowy winter's

You are Very right about that Grumpy but I haven't seen too many mild steel systems anymore, I think they all pretty much went to aluminized? It is a known fact that a 3in system will drone alot more than a 2 1/2in system! and you can achieve those times with a 2 1/2in system through the muffs (Many Hooker systems can prove that). This is all opinion and what each individual likes/wants and also how much they can spend? I believe some people just think that bigger is always better (turbo's as well) but that always isn't the case.

Just ordered my 3" SS single - $245
Shipping to Houston $50

Discounted at 30% provided about 15 show interest in the following:
Muffler - SS 3' Magna flow - $98
Test pipe 3" SS -$60

Get your order in!

just ordered mine and the lady I spoke with said there is 2 people on the list so far, come on people order yours

PIpe Not sure why these are such a great deal

I was going to order these today, and still may, However not sure if I stll will. Guess I am looking for some feedback on the hooker system. That sells for 299 from summit with a 8 dollar shipping charge so total of 307. Now for the muffler tech set up its 182+ muffs, 50 each, (est.) thats 282 plus 50 shipping to my door.so that 332. I thought hooker was a good company with a nice product. As I have never installed a hooker exhaust on these cars not sure how they hold up. I will say I had a set of the areo chambers on my last gn and they are awsome. But they list for 60 each, so that would bring you to 352. Now I can see the SS as a good deal, just not sure on the other. Any feedback from hooker owners would greatly help make a decision.

DAve

PS Muffler tech says they have 3 order so far! So seven more, six if I order!
