Won't the back pressure come from the muffler that we choose?bigal614 said:No offense taken!! But all of my stuff has been coated inside and out and I wouldn't know why someone would only do the outside? About $12 a foot in and out and it looks Great!! You can coat muffs and Cat. These coatings also come in many colors but I like the chrome like silver the best!! FYI, for you guys wanting bigger thinking bigger is better? Exhaust gases become more dense as it cools and you DO need some back pressure!! I think unless your running an all out racer without the comforts of things like AC you don't need anything larger than 2 1/2in system. You will be dissapointed in the performance and hate the sound!!

bigal614 said:Hey Scott, If your car is going to be basically a daily driver I think you would be dissapointed in all asspects of a 3in system, but thats just my opinion, ask a few others? A 3in DP and 2 1/2in system will handle 450HP of street power. Also, usually it's the muffs that will rot/rust before the system so you have to buy SS muffs as well, price them yet? I have spoke to many GN owners with mild steel and especially aluminized that last a very long time in snow zones.
