Fuel is too high if your seeing 870's. What chip are you using? What size injectors?

Get a turbotweak chip. Dial in your FP and boost........... and off you go. Your car is RICH right now..........

I don't know what the chip is. I did look at it and posted some #s off it but to no avail. I do believe it's an aftermarket and not stock because it's marked for "off road use" on it. Generally if it's an older chip, will it have alot of timing programed into it?
As for the injectors they are stock 28 lbs.

Neil, I have full intention on going with the TT chip. I'm just getting the car running the best I can with what I have for now (money).
I'm still confused on why I would get more knock than before when I'm giving it more fuel with the new Walbro and hotwire. If I'm running way rich....why the knock:confused:
One change I did make today is I relocated my vac/boost source. Originally I was tapping into the line at the boost control (PS valve cover) I switched to the line for the map sensor. I read this would be a better source and more accurate reading.

Wow, I can't believe this. I take the car out today for a run and now she's real low on the o2 counts when I'm into it. 15 psi boost and 715 and 11.9*knock retard!! I'm into the amber lights on the caspers!
So...I bring it home and before I shut it off I go over the SM #'s, and they look ok. Next I check fuel pressure, it's at 35 line off. So I go to re-set the FP and that's it! No matter how far down I crank the allen head I can't get the fuel pressure to increase......best I can get is 35 psi.
Could this be my 3 DAY old Walbro going out allready?

dont run the car!!!!!!!!!!

There was a thread on here a while back about fake whalbro pumps being sold as real ones. It sounds like you are one of the unlucky few that got one! Sorry to hear that but sounds like the pump took a crap!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your right. I double checked with another pressure gauge and I'm getting the same bad news.
Blocked off the return on the reg and no change in fuel pressure. Barely getting 32lbs of pressure now. Is this typical of a pump that's taking a dump on you? I would have thought it would just die and you would get no pressure.
This is very frustrating as I'm sure alot of you guys have gone through this. I mean you try to do the right thing in the proper sequince and you get this sorta crap. Boy I'm glad I had the knock gauge and SM hooked up...I could have blown it up! I don't know were to go from here, buy another Walbro or what.

cant help you on your problem but nice looking car you got.

Nice car, Do you have any interior pics? I'm excited another guy in ontario with a limited.
Hey Steve, ya picked this one up out near Ottawa. No interior shots yet, I'll see if I can get some. It's the porno red, 60/40 bench. It's in good shape (no rips or tears) but is fadded somewhat.

Ottawa eh? I'm surprised I thought it might have been the one from london I see on trader. ca I also recall seeing one from Godrich that that was on ebay I thought was two tone. Though I suspect the godrich one london one is probably the same car.
I have the same interior colour and same bench seat. My interior is very faded looks more pinky brown now.

What kind of options does your car have?

Most of the goodies but no Twilight, no power seat, no fender turn signals. And for some reason mine came with the regular regal emblem for the front header panel.
