Got a best yet of 22.7 mpg on the last tank others have been 20

Letting the gf drive now so I can relax a bit and rest my leg. Damn the accelerator pedal is stiff!
- also got stung Friday nite at the hotel by a bee when I stepped on him, so I've got two toes that look like lil red sausages, and they burn and itch like a mofo. LOL. Anyway, that doesn't help the situation.

Stayed the night just outside Houston (Cypress) with a buddy. Up and at it again today. Today's destination will be The Big Texan in Amarillo, TX.
Taking the 40 home so if you're along that route maybe you'll see us.

That's what happened to my 85 when I drove it cross country; shredded the rear fillers... Got little cracks in the stockers near the body, and then the wind murdered them.

Got the lil lady driving again, so I've got time to chat. Talk to me about brake problems.
I've seen in the past some do a vac. booster upgrade. Why ?
I've got brake problems. Hard pedal when ever you use them abruptly (like if you catch a yellow light) They are dangerous IMO as in any panic or quick apply, you get nothing but a rock hard pedal. Is this a sign of a failed accumulator ?

Usually but it can also be the screw-in switch on top. Vacuum brake conversion eliminates this concern.
