Happily removed these from my car last night! Hooker Super Comp's, by far the worst fitting headers U have ever seen and poor performance to boot!! The fitment was worse than what I would expect too see from Flotech! Ta's will be here tommorow! Way excited to drive this car!!!!!

I had those. They were on the car when I bought it. I removed them post haste and put a set of stockers on with GREAT improvement.

I had those also on my car when I bought it. I cant believe they would design a header for a turbo application with so much additional piping. It took forever to spool up.

When I put my TA headers on it was like I added 50 horse to the car. It was insta spool .:)

Came off a 10 second car!! The spool time was terrible, even on the brake it was a nasty performing set of parts!

The Hookers are just a rip off of the Ellis header design. The Ellis headers were available years before Hooker stole them.

I actually paid for a used set about 8 or 9 years ago.
The guy that sold them to said they would not improve performance unless you use nitrous
He had a 125 shot of the line and his car would just disappear.

So that’s why I have been holding on to mines
When my build is done and tested with the nitrous and hookers I’ll keep you posted.

put them on ebay and see if you can get 100 bucks for them.

I was told they would work well with 9.5 comp. and juice
A side of performance I like the way the look.

And Hooker or not I will build for juice So why not test the myth.
It won’t cost me anything extra I already have them.

Our "blueTSM car" went 9.4 with those headers with a 209 ci. engine. They seemed to work good on something you could rev to 8000rpms

Theres nothing wrong with 1 5/8" primary tubes, especially on a turbo car. The problem lies with an improperly sized crossover tube..at least thats what I think. That thing is WAYYYYYYY too big!

After putting the Ta's next to them they easily have twice the tubing and a much larger crossover pipe, the hookers were like 4300-4500 to full pressure, seems pretty slow to me? Hopefully the TA's help that!

im sure a stroker 3.8 and a big turbo might like them or maybe a 4.1 stroker.
