Bobby get the J.B weld out and you will be good to go. Long drive for a break on the first run. Oh hell get duct tape out you said you had enough to fix it.

Later Sean

I'd have zip tied it back on and raced. Or if you really wanted a solid fix, use hose clamps. :D

Do you think the anti-roll bar had anything to do with it? Not the sway bar; that one looks like a stocker.

I think it just fatigued .The 60' has been goin away and I think it has been flexing .The left lane was hooking good friday nite I noticed .It was cool sat morn and I had it on kill. The stevecraft bar has been damaged ,the levers were bent on the drivers side.Im glad I had the bar because it was the only thing holding the rear in place.I think if it wasnt their the body damage to the quarter panel would have been worse. The tire was tore up and the quarter panel was damaged.Im getting the rearend out now and goin to try to fit exhaust in their while it is out

Hey Bob

That looks like a good place to weld a gusset in; from that bracket to the housing tube......I'm gonna go out check mine now.

Are those SSM lowers?
I had some on my 5.0 until I noticed them tearing at the body mount. I had to have it welded and I removed the bars. I'll never go there again. (including the 5.0 ;) )

Bobby, did you get your rear fixed/exh. put on?

Robbies car sure is running good.

cya at the track.

You can tell in the pics that the weld has been slowly failing. Lots of rusted surface weld areas showing it has been cracking on you for awhile. Good thing it didn't twist out from under the car under a hard load.

Bob, That sure is a good job of holding the rear end in!! Those ratchet straps look very familiar!!
