Did the search lots of good post,I just got more confused ,the math was to much,
Simply I need a sending unit ,and Racetronix and Full Throttle have several to choose from .(need it for a DD dash)
I have a 255 in the car now and I want to know is this enough for my combo ( have gone 11.8)
car will see the track every month now the it is running ,My ET will be in the mid too low 11s with this new combo
I'm aware that return line is a issue ,But at what ET ,and is the 340 pump to big for the return lines?
Thanks

Another option. Nick sells these units which also address the return line issues. Www.arizonagn.com and he provides tech support. Just a option for you.

The 340 pump is too much for the stock return line. Just did the swap for -8 feed line and using my stock feed line as the return line and now can control the fuel pressure. Larger pump will spike your FP since the return line will be a restriction at that point. The 255 pump will be good for mid 11's all day long. If you get the sending unit you will have to buy the digital dash sender for $15 too. It's really easy to swap out on the Racetronix unit.

340 to much for the stock return? Not on my 2 cars or any of the other cars I've installed them on. I'm not sure what issue you had with yours but I'm going to say 99.9 percent won't have a return issue with a single 340.

thanks Nicks is nice stuff ,was not going to change my return line, unless I was going to get in trouble with the stock lines and running in the 11s.
Not going to go any faster than 11s our track is very strict about the 11.5 rule
seen on racetronix page the sending unit looked like a no brainier just want to do it right and not starve it for fuel with a 255 pump
that two opinions hopefully ill get a few more
Tricksix why did you go 340 with a Te44

Probably because that was the pump to get. They stopped making the 307 many many moons ago and we didn't have much of a choice or options in the day

The 340 pump I got a good deal from someone who didn't want to deal with the line upgrade. I'm building for the future. Yes the Racetronix 340lph pump will out flow the return lines. I cut the Saginaw fitting off and added a 90 to the FPR and it still was spiking. Went to the feed line and is now under control.
