I know this has been discussed before. Cant remember if here or over at General Tech. Ive noticed a pretty heavy gas odor on a few occassions lately while driving. Especially on the highway. When I got home I opened the hood while still running but didnt smell anything from the engine compartment. Checked the charcoal canister to make sure the filter element was still in place, and it was.
Any ideas of where to look? Dont know if its related, but gas mileage seems to really be sucking more than usual too.
