Brian im not trying bash you at all.I just saying if you wanted to make things right and make your money ,get my order to me thats all i wanted for you but you have all kind of reson why you didint ship my parts .I dont need that .like BRER RAbbit said in so many words we pay for parts we want are parts

I was in a tight spot a few months ago during the holidays, and really needed some parts.
G-body was closed. I was totally unaware of the issues Brian was having (Hope you are well on the road to recovery bud)
Brian went above his call and took care of it. There was some miscommunication on one order, but I did not come and bash G-BodyParts.
So, things happen, we communicate and Brian took care of it.
Sure I was upset, but it was a super small event in life, and little did I know about the BIG challenges Brian was facing.

I "think" that at times we forget that we are not building Mustangs or Camaro's.
The majority of parts are not available through dealers or aftermarket, especially not a HA.
Lexus has the HIGHEST CS rating. Go talk to the XXXX unsatified customers and see how accurate"they think" the polls are.

Honestly, someone who screams about a part being late without contacting the vendor has a pretty good life. (read on before you blow your cork)
Vendors "should call", I agree. And I "should" exercise more and eat less.
No business is perfect and am sure that for the 10 P'd-Off customers, there are at least 1000 happy ones.
Figure out the percentages and determine GBody's CS satisfaction rating.

I am sure Brian will agree;
Give "any board supporting" vendor a chance to perform and correct the mistakes. If they do not respond, ship your parts after talking to them on the phone, THEN post and slam them.
We rely a LOT on E-communication and sometimes the messages end up in "la-la land". :rolleyes:

Here is the solution;
Still upset and want plenty of vendor choices, aftermarket parts and quick deliveries?
Build a Chevy or Mustang or rice. :rolleyes:
 
OK Had my vendor get me a radiator from his distibutor G body After 3 weeks asked where it was.Said it was sent back cause of UPS damage Fine I can live with that.Happens. Distibutor says its going out special delivery 2 days at my front door After 4 days still nothing Really didnt say which week it was going out in 2 days.after day 4 I wasnt sleeping& I had steam coming out of my ears Problem resolved. Got one somewhere else .Alot of people have had good luck with gentleman Brian But of us little guys havent I had to vent Sorry G body parts

Daniel I understand 100%. I did post in my first post what was relayed to me. They realized the order was for clear not Black. It stepped it back.

I do rely on my employees to take care of e-mails forwarded to them. Most of the time they do but they are human. Their may be 80 e-mails sent from their e-mail address a day. Some times 1 is missed or even 2, It does happen.

Also understand that we are not Jegs & Summit.
We are also not working out of a few car garage either. Our old facility was 96K sq ft. We went down to 10K sq ft. After speaking with a few other vendors that have been in the business I didn't need that big of a facility or maintain the amount of parts we were storing. Drop shipping was the answer.

If you noticed in a previous post I had fired 5 people. At least 3 were embezzeling $. We have had at least 3 people out last week due to illness.
We try & maintain 6 people here at all times. That hasn't happened for months.

This is not an excuse at all,Just reasons why we have been not as efficient as we use to be in PA. There we had everything in stock 10 employees etc..
We are however getting back on track.
Those of you who have been dealing with us remember when we moved from Baltimore to PA. We were S.O.B's for a good 4 months.:biggrin: Once we had the place organized we were shipping 400- 500 packages a week,Not parts packages with multiple parts. We became a better company.

We will be like that again soon. Just having problems with employees, this drop shipping thing,Manufacturers & Room.
Shipping problems are worse now then they have ever been. Throwing boxes away because contents are missing & not informing us the shipper.
Damaged parts taking 2 weeks to come back or not being picked up.
We are gearing up carrying vendors across the country as well.

We are planning to expand up to be about 20K sq ft. I'm thinking that will solve the problem. I will be posting tonight after normal business hours looking for Qualified employees.
Any way if you feel we have missed parts, an order, Disgraced the Buick community :rolleyes: etc.. Then,

E-mail me Bweavy@aol.com That is the best way to reach me direct. I will either forward your e-mail to an employee to get you a tracking # or give you a response: our manufacturer shows it shipping on such a such date.
If you don't here back in 24 hours during a weekday e-mail again or call.
If you don't think your e-mails are getting thru or it is a second or next day situation then call. You do not have to ask for me direct we have 2 other people in the office that can handle it.
HOWEVER: If you are speaking to an employee & not getting a resolution e-mail or talk to me direct. I do handle these situations personally & make it right.

If you place an order & do not have a tracking # generated to your e-mail call & we will see what is going on or notify you when the order is placed it will ship in 48 business hours or may take longer. Normally we ship the same day.

Ok now bash me some more & have fun doing it. :eek:

Guys don't waste your time ordering from this company.I order some t/a valve covers 2 week ago and stil do have them.next . I call T/a performance and they said they have lots of valve cover ready to go.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
ps gbodyparts maybe you need to call up T/a performance order for them this way you can have the parts when you need to sell .

IMO 2 weeks is not enough time to through out the red flag. As long as your not being shorted money or product, all is good. Brian himself said he will take care of the situation and apoligized. Anything more is just beating a dead horse. Give the man a chance to make good.
BTW, Brian I need some more s h i t, I will pm you with my wish list and call you tomorrow and give you my info again. Your gonna send me to the poor house.:redface:
 
I only purchased a couple of parts so far from Gbody, and had no problems, but a personal issue came up about a particular car I had once owned and he eventually aquired. I spoke to him about it, he was very understanding to my situation and offered to help out in any way he could.

cus I fail to see the truth in that statement.

gbody is a last resort, I would research any other alternative

I can't give my business to someone with no professional or ethical business management skills. I'd rather my car sit.

A simple yes or a no would do, just like your bigger issue with me (a simple phone call would solve all your worries). I couldn't beat the dummy out of you with a stick!

sad you waste more customer dollars on a lawyer, instead 1 simple phone call. you waste time and money with law suits rather then addressing the issues at hand, you would rather a lawyer clean up your own mess you created then clean it up.

again 714 497 6123 why can't you just call and handle this? I feel like this is the 100th time I've said that, wait thats cus it is! At least tell me when I can call you to chat. just call me or tell me when I can call you for the 100000th freaking time!

Seems like Gbodyparts has a hard time getting the stuff shipped out quickly. I bought a vacuum brake system from them and it was about 3 weeks later I began to wonder where it was. I emailed Bweavy or pmed him on here and he told me there had been a mistake and shipping and he would personally take care of it, and he did very quickly.

I think Brian seems like a pretty good guy, but sometimes in your business there are people that don't do excellent work, trust me I know first hand with my job :tongue: . But he does seem to take care of people himself if nobody in the shipping dept will do it...

Plus my buddy Pacemkr86 has wonderful things to say about him, so he must be all right ;)
 
I've bought and sold parts to G body and never had any issues (besides the shipper DHL drops the stuff from the plane on your door step) :eek: and will continue to do business with them.:biggrin:

I have customers to take care of.A family,Business etc... Not little whiny asses with no lives.
Some where in your little world you think you can herass companies & individuals. Guess what you can. There are consequences for your actions. I turned the other cheek like I was Amish.I had people make excuses for you. Well I'm done. This is the closest you will ever get from me as an acknowledgement.

It is amusing how you flip back & forth: Gbodyparts is broke then you worry about where I spend my customers $,I'm making too much $, etc...
If you actually had any idea how much of My & our customers $ goes back into these vehicles,free parts shipped,Sponsored races & events, etc... You would be shocked. Alot of items being built & have been built were done & financed by Gbodyparts.

This is the bottom line
IT is none of your business when you try to make it yours It is taken care of legally!!!

To the point! I love it, I agree ones buisness practices, finances, income, etc.... is nobodys biz...Being a buisness owner myself I can totally relate to all of this, but an outsider who has no experiance in the owning a buisness has no right whatsoever to say a thing...It is by far the most stressfull and time comsuming venture I have ever overtaken...Your never done, you cant just set it aside, and there is no such thing as a day off...Brian is a stand up guy who I will continue to deal with..:biggrin:
 
i have order lots of gbody stuff and have pm'd brian with things i needed or questions on from web site.Always responeded quickly,Also parts I did order where shipped quickly and no damage.I will be buying a few things shotly and won't hesitate to call if don't show instead of bashing the guy for a simple mistake.I have ordered from other vendors supported here and have had problems with getting charged for a turbo I cancelled four months prior, due to not knowing when it would show up.A1500 whoops on my cc is more then a lost part or lil mistake.I calm and collectivly called them and asked what's up, and they said no problem send it back will credit full amount and shipping.Instead of bashing them cuz the wind hit my nuts wrong...
 
A few observations from someone who has not met or dealt with any of the players involved:

First: yes in a perfect world every vendor would have 100 of everything in stock right then and there; UPS, FedEx, whoever would never lose or mutilate a package: but that isn't reality. If you think EVERY order from Cotton's, Full Throttle, Poston, Year One, Finish Line, etc etc etc goes smooth as glass and only gbodyparts screws up...you are sadly mistaken. "Stuff" happens with everybody despite everyone's best efforts or intentions. Nothing deliberate, nothing personal....it's just the way it is.

Second: I don't quite get why assigning blame is so important here: Some of you get a thrill out of pointing fingers at brian. Brian you seem equally quick to reassign blame: former employees (if they were so lousy why did you hire and continue to employ them in the first place?-and what about the crew you have now for that matter), a supplier dropped the ball, or the shipper dropped a package off a cliff.....Yes I am stretching things a bit here, but the point is still the same: when things go wrong rather than argue about who screwed up....let's just unscrew it. Again.."stuff" happens to the best of us.

And lastly: "XX Dorkside": who are you that someone needs to stop whatever they are doing and call you just so you can spew even more of your crap. You are a loon.
 
darkside, seems like you're digging yourself a bigger hole everytime you attack Gbodyparts. The above post is absolutely correct about one's business practices- it's not any of your (or anybody else's) business.

You continue to attack Gbodyparts, and all you're doing is breaking off your leg and beating yourself with it. It'll be interesting to see the outcome of this....thanks for the entertainment!

Are you kidding me?! Not defending Brian or Gbody.com but you only gave it two weeks actually 10 days cause 4 of the 14 days are not business days.
