I've never used Bweavy for anything so I have no opinion on him as a vendor. I will say this though, steveX, no wonder any dealings you had with him turned bad, you have the communications skills of 3 year old.

Ive had great success regarding transactions with Bweavy. i bought a low mile passenger door 2 years ago and he actually sat on it for about 4 months till i told him to ship it. Yes, he stored it for free! I have purchased many other new items with no problems. I spend $15k/year on TR parts with various vendors and private sellers. This community is starting to really annoy me with their BS internet comments. Ive never seen so many cry babies. Nice as pie to the face but turn around and feel the knife plunge in your back. The boosted LSx engine is starting to sound really good to me. Some of the grammar on here is terrible. If you have a legitimate gripe then at least have the skills to explain it without looking like a non educated fool.

SteveX you are way out of line. There is no need for you to comment any further. I assume you are up for match races since you can build a faster TR than most of us "s hit talker"(sic). There are guys in CT who would be up for it. PM me in a few weeks if interested.

Crazy, I have bought 8-10,000 of stuff from gbody and never had any issues, I have always been able to get opinions on parts from Brian no problem, I just wish he would start selling parts for tri 5's !!!
my last 3 orders from east coast chevy,(2) and Ecklers have been f-ed up parts missing 2 times with east coast chevy (not backorders just forgot them) and someone at ecklers should not be allowed to package a lump of coal cause they would f-that up 2 !!!my radiator looks like someone beat on it with a hammer.

OUCH! This is not a nice post, regardless of circumstances. If you're not happy with a vendor, then don't do business with them, but don't light a fire underneath them either. Be a man, and settle it out with them personally, before throwing them under a bus!

Wishing someone bad Karma and digging at their Health, isn't KOOL MAN! Take it easy!!!

Take a look at all the people this GBODYPARTS has helped in this community, and try and take a deep breath man. Just try taking a little step back.

Hmmmm...I am so glad I caught your attention.
YOU LOSE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE OF YOUR FORGETFULL WAYS and cause a RUNNER AROUND IN YOU CUSTOMER LIVES.
Brian, we spoke by e-mail and phone when you paypal for ONLY the rims. You told me 3-4 time with-in a 2 month period, someone will pick-up the rims.
I waited many times all day for the pick up to not show up.
I spoke to you once again 3 months later.
I told you I was going to the e-z pull in ringgold P.A., off I81 (rout 309N) 3 hrs ride.
I took the ride with your rims in a mini-van, which I was using to bring back two engines ($1600). I call you all day till I lose service due to out of range. I only got to bring back one engine($800) and your rims. the other engine was lose cause I had no room:mad: (wish you would answer the phone. another failer to communicate) . so I stop at a pay-phone on my way to ringgold and when leaving at 4:30pm and calling you again with no answer. I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY (cause now i feeling am doing something wrong). this was a 3 hrs ride not for you, but I thought I`ll do a fellow buickmotorhead a favor and drop off the rims ,since I was heading in your direction:rolleyes: (never pay to be  ). That day I got home at 9:30pm with one engine and 4 rims (riding buddys HOV). Do you know I lose $800.00 because you would`nt answer your phone to recieve delievery of the rims?. 3 months now, I am trying to get this rims to you brian. I have a life (even if most of you don`t like me). I let the rim sit and wait till brian got in-touch with me (1yrs later). He did, 1 years later on. I still had the rim and at this point they started to develop rust. when I told brian this, he request a refund from me and not paypal. I told you in the begining of the transaction and 1 yrs later, to send me a pre-paid shipping label or pay for the shipping cost. NO:rolleyes: , he want to have another friend pick-up the rims again:rolleyes: ...what to you take me for? .....

I was told some non-sense, about him getting back his money when who ever see me...whatever?.
dude if you think you still deserve a refund, after my loose($800) and days waiting for your friends who never call or stop by,,,,them please take me to court.

DID you laughed at the HEART ATTACT (HA) you recieve...I`m sure you did alot of praying to god:rolleyes: . it funny how you got the HA and I didn`t, but let me guess? I`m the scum-bag?. GOD ALWAY DO GOOD THING TO GOOD PEOPLE:biggrin:

I`m sure you pay the site in the form of donation or vendor fees?. I would do the same, but they choice to take sides. I wonder why?. $$$$.

People will tell you about them self when they speak about other people. and dude if I`m a scum-bag in this case, then i can live with it. Has to your heart attact I don`t think one can live with that.

Member please take you business to other vendors (goodguys), brian have bigger touble to attend too.

if you see the BIG-MAN before me, please just say something about me.

sorry man I did my best...

You have the grammar and mentality of an 8 year old... Why would you wish harm to a person or their health over a few dollars lost beacuse a deal that went sour... You win some you lose some, that's life, get used to it... I've dealt with Brian a few times, I've had great timely transactions, but right now I'm waiting on some parts that are taking longer than usual... That's business, it's not like Brian is delivering the parts personally and just doesn't feel like bringing them, he's at the mercy of UPS, FedEx, DHL, the vendors he get's his parts from, etc, etc... Hopefully you get banned before this thread goes any farther, but if you have the ability to read your own jibberish, go back and look at some of the ridiculous, childish, things you've said... You are a tool, you give the Buick community a bad name, so hopefully you wreck your car, but don't get hurt(I don't want to be a hypocrite), atleast that way you won't be associated with us anymore...

For future reference, or if you need help figuring out what my post says/means give this link a try: Dictionary and Thesaurus - Merriam-Webster Online

SGRIM,

Can we have a Grammar and Usage test for Members and Vendors.

If they don't pass, and many won't ;), you can ban them.

@#$^%#& Little Boys for Breakfast huh?

Going Fast with Class is dead I think. At least for some.

Nice language guys.

:)

unreal

Hey guys, I am working on my sixth turbo buick and I have bought some stuff from Gbodyparts with no problems but I do frequent these feedback forums to stay up to date on who not to buy from. The only thing that worries me is I am shocked by their bad feedback. I mean there are so many people pissed with them on here I dont see how they can all be wrong. Anyways, I dont comment much but I have to admit I own a car lot and I know it can be frustrating running a business but I think this gentlemen Brian is VERY unprofessional in alot of his post towards people and I have to admit I have been shocked that a business owner would reply like I have seen him reply in alot of these threads. It makes me wonder about buying from them in the future if I was to get treated like alot of these guys have been.

It does appear that way if you don't get the all sides of the story. For every 1 complaining there are 100's not complaining...

It looks like we are going to have to start really enforcing the Feedback rules! Jesse made a great set of rules to be fair to both parties. This recent trend of bash bash bash I will take the blame for. Simply because we haven't enforced the rules as they were written. The problem is when we do enforce them we are going to get called vendor protectors....

For those that do not know the rules read the sticky at the top of the feedback forum. These were wrote before we bought the board and took over.

Well then, I gues everyone that has an issue with this vendor will just have to start thier own thread instead of grouping them all together in one......................

psycho6cyl as far as business with you It doesn't bother me at all not to deal with guys like you. You buy a part beat us up on the price for a week then have to have it shipped out yesterday. Then call 5 times a day slowing us down wanting a tracking # that isn't generated to your e-mail until the end of the day when picked up.

As far as a turbo on back order if we do not have it in stock we don't try selling you it off the shelf. We will get it drop shipped. If the manufacturer doesn't have it then likely no one does.

We ship alot of parts daily. We have cleaned house more then a few times to get the right help. If your un happy with us don't buy from us. I don't have an 18,000+ customer base from screwing people. You can't make everyone happy & I'm done trying to.

If you have a problem from 8 years ago you can still e-mail me at that same e-mail address you had Bweavy@aol.com. Stop bitching & e-mail.

Ok Brian if you go to my original post 1 i did not order a Turbo through you. 2 the small parts I did order was a Pain in the A$$ to get bc of problem w employees shipping etc... (aka excuses) 3 you guys left a part out of my order (fuel o rings) call back to say I idn get it and your guy tells me well i shipped it you should have gotted it etc.. But eventually you guysys sent me the orings for free..4 part was damaged when i recieved it. YEs it was a used part (oil distib block off block for turbo feed-brass) but the threads came messed up which is pointless. I havent had my GN for 8 yrs so you have me mixed up. And for one I dont beat guys up on price- ask Cotton bout me tying to gepats cheaper... I never said u screwed people over I just think your bizness could be ran a bit better.. Its a bit obvious by all the problems in the last couple of years.. I dont buy from you and i will when im in need.. but when i do i dont expect the same service i get from other vendors. But its all right you are the prince around here and we all know who the king and queen are. By the way I will stop b!itching when you stop making excuses for things. Nothing personal against you... Good luck... Psycho 6.......

Personally, I don't think you should make that change. I think that anyone using foul language or making personal attacks or threats should be removed. Otherwise, leave it alone......but that's just MY opinon. I hate to do anything that inhibits people form sharing their personal experiences, we all learn from it.

Never made an excuse I always give a reason why there were delays.
Most business owners that deal with employees have no problem understanding what is going on. I think you took my post meaning you for everything,it wasn't intended that way, & sorry if you took it that way.
We have been thru 20 employees in less then a year.

Shifty about sumed it up.

Once again we want to ship your parts & make $. That is a no brainer. We do what we can to make everything right. The bottom line I'm responsible for what my employees do. They are human & make mistakes but there are also limits when they are not cost effective.

As for my comment, it was out of line. If you want to do some Crap reading do a serch on TBS. You'll understand why I was so angry. Blatent lies & bragging on how I was screwed.

I see, it is more or less an ongoing thing and I just am stepping in when Gbodys is defending themselves so I guess I don't see the whole story.....makes more sense. Ok, I am just trying to read some feedback to know who is a good place to buy from and I had noticed alot of complaints but I guess it is probably pretty dificult keeping everyone happy.

I hope everything gets sorted out with this company. Though I have to stay neutrel since I've never dealt with them, tough I did plan on it in the future. I hope the owner recovers from his recent illness and gets things figured out. There aren't that many comapnies who deal with the g-bodys as we would all like, so I hate to see one go under. Maybe he needs to hire some more people or not take on too many projects at one time? Just a thought..

I ordered stuff from gbodyparts and I was happy with the service and products.I see there is a few upset people about there parts but you always here about the bad not the good.We are actually lucky to have someone developing products that are discountinued and selling hard to find parts. There are only a few companys for the turboregals not alot of money to be made out there with cars that are so limited and over 20 years old.So maybe the company has to take on alot to make some money.Hope everything works out both ways.

This is a simple solution to simple matter. I BELIEVE IT IS A VENDORS RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THE CUSTOMERS INFORMED OF THE STATUS OF ORDERS.

I agree. I recently went thru this while trying to exchange an NOS black power master pressure switch (the ones known for failure) that I was recently sold new, for the correct later grey switch.

Vendor said over the phone they had one in stock and would have it out right away, but never bothered to tell me it would be drop shipped from GM 3 weeks later.

I figured the vendor forgot about me so I ended up buying a switch at a dealership 100 miles away as I was in the process of moving + pushed for time and I had to drive the Buick over 1000 across the country and didn't want to chance it on a leaky switch.

Yet when I went to put the black switch on ebay to recoup the $155 I spent for a trailer queen part, said vendor raised all kinds of hell thinking I had the new part and was looking to make a quick buck at the vendor's expense, when the new part was actually sitting on the door step of my old residence. (Thanks to my landlord telling me this)

Of course said vendor proceeded to bash me for "not providing a forwarding address" because they failed to tell me it would take 3 weeks to get....when I was anticipating 2 days tops via USPS. Yet the vendor did not tell me this part would be dropped shipped, otherwise I could have said "Ok, I see it's going to be a while, let me give you this address...."

So you are right, communication goes a long ways.

P.S. the said vendor even went as far as to say me having to travel 100 miles to purchase another switch, just to make the trip, was silly. And that I should have risked damaging my car, not to mention risking everyones life on the road + my own, by installing a ticking time bomb pressure switch prone to failure.

This thread was initiated against a vendor at TB.com....At the risk of appearing to 'protect' vendors, I'm going to close this thread and invite DanielWe4 to initiate a new thread where only he and Bweavy post.

Nothing has been deleted, I treat vendor threads the same as all others. This thread is closed ....I started to read this thread. Spent some time doing it. Still don't know where the issue is right now. DanielWe4, please repost and catch us all up on this issue.

I've been a moderator on TB.com for about four years. NEVER has a converstaion occurred where anyone attempted to influence my word or actions. Neither owner, nor any vendor, has ever attempted to edit or control a word I've typed. Never, not once. I've never been contacted by any vendor to secure preferential treatment on any issue on the board.

During those 4+ years, I've closed 6 threads, this makes the 7th.

Take any subject you like to the Lounge. Do a search on countrybumpkin if you think airing issues in the Lounge somehow limits exposure to the Buick community....It does not. :)

Best Regards to all sides in this issue.
