My $.02.....All the "big gun" comments makes me wonder... What's the REAL intent, when choosing a home defense weapon...
Is it to shoot thru 4 walls, go a 1/4 mi, and kill someone in the next block?? Or, is it to actually defend one's self in the confines of the home?
A scared homeowner has about a 2-5% chance of hitting the target w/ a single projectile weapon. Whereas, with a shot shell weapon, it becomes "close is good enough". [And, you don't kill someone down the block.]
Break into my place, and you won't get it w/ the AR, or the .38. You WILL get a load of #6/12 ga shot from the Maverick 88.`In my car, it's a Judge. You WILL get a load from the .410 shell.
Due to the increasing ammo costs, there will no longer be a warning shot fired!
