I can't figure out which ones have a better fit . I like both companies but I can't figure out the difference in the two . Can you give me your experiences

I have installed the front fillers from Fullthrottle and they fit really well. These are the only fronts that I have tried

I like Gbody's fiberglass fillers. Just ordered my second set. Fit perfect.

I went with GBody's OEM style front and rear...great fit.

Kirban's rear fillers werent even close to lining up. The castings were bad so the body lines in the fillers were 3/4 - 1" off... I'm assuming their front and rear follers are made by the same people thus the same quality

Spoolfool (Mike) is making a 1 piece replacement which fits really nice but may be out of your price range. PM him and do a search for the info.;)

Can't speak to Gbody's or Kirban's but Spoolfool's fillers are worth considering also. They fit very well out of the box and come in a glossy black gelcoat finish. Initial costs may be more but the gelcoat finish is a close enough color match that they do not require immediate painting unless you are after a perfect match.

Just put SPOOL FOOL'S front fillers on, very easy instulation after watching his video, they look great and i wish the rest of my car looked that good. Hopefully i can get some funds up to order rears but for know i'll patch up with some jb weld. They are definitly worth the money.

I like Kirban's oem fronts :)

Are you talking Fiber glass, abs or oem style?
Dennis & I both carry all 3 styles.

I figured I would chirp in this thread. First we offer both versions that are mentioned in the original post ones called Kirban whcih are ABS and we also sell G Bodys....Actually most of us vendors sell to each other. The ABS fillers as well as the fiberglass ones have been available for quite sometime. They are cheap but you spend more money in the prep work and fit work. Gbody has gone to the great expense and time and effort to put out a quality product using superior materials than what GM used originally in 1984-1987. You pay more up front but its less prep work. A lot of good reproductions have come out for our cars in the last few years.

Its kind like shocks most owners know Bilstein shocks are the best, (they actually created the gas shock) but quite costly....reason we sell KYBs also.

I used the G-body front and rears and they were good. No complaints, little bit of tweaking and bending. I just got a set from Spoolfool and they are ridiculous. For a driver I don't think you can go wrong, for a show car or close to it, get the one from Spoolfool

When you copy an original product you get an original result. You improve too much then it is no longer an OEM style filler. We did improve upon it & made it long lasting. We removed the pock marks so it is a scuff & shoot situation. You get a factory look & feel with less effort.
FG fillers Mike has the nicest.

I have a "close to show car", 40k miles, just big $ stripped and repainted. After trying fiberglass fillers, which both my shop and I didn't like, I went with the GBody reproductions. Both my shop and I are very happy with them. Shop prep was minimal, and they fit and look very good. Even if my car was a full show car, I would have no problem whatsoever using these. In fact, in my humble opinion, these are excellent for a show car, since they are the closest you can get to stock outside of paying for NOS.

Not knocking anybody or their products, I applaud anyone willing to develop parts for our cars. It's great that we have choices. I just know a lot of people read these comments, and I don't want people to think that the Gbody reproductions are anything but very nice. As a buyer, I am very satisfied with them on my nearly show car.

Regards,

I guess mine post sounds less than positive which was not the intent.
I have 2 cars, one is stock and uses Gbody parts units and they look awesome, they match the stock ones and the fit is good. Scuff and shoot is completely accurate.
The other car is anything but stock and the seamless rear is cool and different and definitely not stock.

If stock is your goal, I would recommend Gbody.

If you want something not stock with some cool factor, I would recommend Spoolfool.

I have spoolfools front fillers and they fit perfect. They don't have to be painted immediately because of the black gel coat. I'm getting prices from a couple body shops for paint and all shops I've shown the fillers to said they hadn't seen any fillers of that quality before. I'm happy with them.
