Hey guys just thought I'd pass this info along. I am part of the Innovate WB02 mailing list and I just got an email today stating that the show "Two Guys Garage" on Speed Channel will be having a tuning session with a Buick Grand National and the Innovate WB02 sensor. They dyno tune AND road test a GN in this episode. Dont miss it!

Multiple air times:
Saturday 5/1/04 at 7:30PM EST
Sunday 5/2/04 at 11:00AM
Wednesday 5/5/04 at 3:30PM
Thursday 5/6/04 at 8:00AM

These are all EST.

Damn standard cable with no Speedchannel!!

One of these days I have to step up to digital.

Steve

screw digital cable, i switched just to get the speed channel and still dont get it.
its not part of basic cable , its 5 bucks extra a month that would put me at 64 bucks
a month for basic digital cable plus speed channel, (i do have 2 recievers)
im switching to direct tv. first 6 months 29 .99 then to 39.99 and you get speed:mad:

It's on now.....

Lotsa Casper's stuff on there.

The car has a MAF Translator; didn't hear them mention it.... :(

BUT....

The 3rd guy (of Two Guys Garage...) used the word "Predetonation"......

nimrod..

They eval'd the wide-band in closed loop, and pointed out how "lean" it was!!!!!!

14.7:1 = perfect in closed loop.

Its a DYNO, dipshiit, stand on it!

Nimrods......

Yeah, I was waiting to see what kind of 'tuning" those two boneheads were gonna do....answer...none...waste of tape..

Yeah they appraoched a buddy of mine for use of his product on theyre GN, he said ok.. figured what the hell.. TV exposure.. then came the contract.. they not only wanted the product but an additional 7K for advertising purposes..

Guess why all you see is Edelbrock, Holley, etc.. companies that can drop $$$ into a project.

Shame they have the power to really make the GN a showpiece.. but have no clue how to do it.

seen the show. I think you guys are a little brutal on it. Just be thankful your seeing a G.N and not another mustang or chebbie.

Do you really think they'ed show you how to install a test pipe and take it for a ride on the street.

Wondering about emission laws,Notice they did'nt say anything about the alhky set up.

P.S. you're probly going to watch it again---ARE'NT YOU????

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
It is about time we get to see some exposure for GN's!

It was worthless from a learning-anything perspective. I find it hard to believe that a guy who has his car tweaked like that would seek help from those bozos.

That car was pretty heavily modified. Not sure how I feel about the old-skool Cragar S/S wheels, but it had an AFPR, a 3.5" MAF, turbo with a 4" inlet, 4" MAF pipe, aftermarket plenum, nitrous, alky, bigger up-pipe (prolly an aftermarket intercooler, too looking at the radius on the up-pipe), PTE turbo saver, dual wastegate solenoids, etc. and so on.

Do you suppose they are just acting?.

Predetonation?.

Geesh......

Acting? No, no no. People REALLY bring their cars to these guys to fix. Especially GNs. They're REAL mechanics, aren't they? Please don't burst my bubble....

Sorry....the sarcasm in my first post is tough to come across in this medium. Those guys do a horrible job of convincing me that anyone would bring them their car.

I would've hit the taller guy in the green shirt over the head with a 3/4" breaker bar for the public scolding over putting the tools back where I found them.
