This may not be the right area but I'm sure it gets the most traffic. Cal is organizing (this is his reminder ;) ) a group buy on TRZ suspension. They have top quality upper and lower control arms for the front that save around 25-27#. Ted A has a set. They also have a manual rack conversion to convert the car to rack and pinion steering. It saves around 25# over a manual S-10 box so it'll knock over 35# off a car still equipped with factory power steering.

See Cal for pricing details.

BTW I'm in for a manual rack conversion. The conversion consists of everything needed to make the swap including the bump steer kit.

Cal,

Do they make a sway bar?
I did not see one on their web site.

John, It's not on their website (don't know why) but I've seen a few guys on Maliburacing.com that claim to be running their anti-roll bar which is supposed to be a Weld-in similar to the Wolfe...

Z,

That is what I thought, I just wanted to clarify for Cal so he could maybe pick up some additional orders.

Has there been any feedback from guys actually running the rack and pinion?
I might be interested. Do we know the final $$ ?

How strong are the upper and lower arms compared to stock? Can they be used on the street or just for straight line accelation? In other words how would the car handle on corners?

The thread is on maiburacing.com

Its a weld in piece, very nice...

I haddent heard about the upper and lower control arms, what about just deleting the uppers completely?

I dont have any pics, but saw a car at the nats with no uppers....

Maybe ive chewed too much tabacco this week??
