What make is the dyno? Mustang, dynojet or other? They vary a good bit.

345 on a Mustang Dyno

380 on a Dynojet
 
I think it is a Dynojet (TurboTune in Greensboro)

25* timing

My guess is 350-360hp no idea what kind of torque.
 
I dynoed at 418/ 498 with the same set up as except I have 36lb inj. stock tb. and a powerstroke intercooler. This was at 19lbs of boost. I believe it was a mustang dyno. Good luck!!!

Was that with the comp cam in your sig? He has a stock cam as far as I can see. You have a fresh engine as well.
 
Whoops, sorry couple of little differences. Cam is only a hyd. 206/206. Good luck any way. I saw another tr dyno a couple of weeks ago with almost identical mods as you and dynoed 388/477. I believe he put the ta49 on that day. You can read is post on the other site. {tbs.com}
 
Check my sig. I had a very similar combo. When I dynoed I had stock MAF, bluetops, and a reds 100 chip boost was 21-22lbs. Number should be fairly close.
 
well...I figure you will have to turn the fuel press down quite a bit just to keep it from being pig rich on the dyno...then when you get it just right for the dyno..it WILL be WAY lean when your not on the dyno!..be careful!..
 
Dynojet-

If the convertor was locked and the boost was 25 along with 25° of timing, then it should be around 420/580 if everything is right at 11.4 a/r

If it was rich and only on 110 then 400/555
If it was unlocked then 330/440

What did it do?

Converter unlocked in 3rd at 25psi 326 horsepower the dyno said 365 ft lb of torque(weird) and yes it was pig rich on this run o2 stated .777 1.4 degree's kr at 82mph. Exhaust uncapped AF was 11.9.

Next pull I turned the boost up to 28psi for an outstanding 335hp AF 13. Engine was breaking up at that point. o2 .710 2.1 kr.

1st pull was 24 psi 317hp through the exhaust AF 12.5.

Timing on all runs was only 22* made no fueling changes at all. I did turn the alky on for the 2nd pull to 5 on the scale and 2 on the 3rd run.

Dyno's are a world all there own. Not quite sure what to make of them.
 
Were you unable to lock the converter? If the converter is slipping, then the rear wheels cant catch up, so to speak, to the speed they should be spinning at a given rpm. Without lockup you cant get a real idea of what kind of power you're making...other than getting some good track runs and calculating the hp from there. But you wont really be able to measure torque.
 
That sucks, do you normally race your car at the track with the convertor unlocked?
Too bad i wasnt closer with my guesses :confused:

did you make any changes in the timing tables down low? I was thinking that maybe it would be around 350 ish with 110 octane the torque around 430 ish beening it's a unopened motor except timing chain and valve springs

That mybe why the car don't wanna punch the convertor no harder than it does since it's down on torque?

but he was able to build like 7-8 psi against the brake and hold it on a 1.80's 60 ft and the car not spin the tires so i'm thinking mybe the car don't have enuff low end grunt to max out the convertor (flash it) before the car moves.

i have a 3200 on my car and with a direct scan i can be @ 3k @ 3-4 psi and the very next frame be @ 4k @ 3-4 mph.

but hell i don't know anything just a thought tho
