I just bought a converter at Bowling Green and with the help of my friends installed it in the pits. I'm not a expert, but after talking to the vendor's and my club members I went with a Vigilante 9.5 Single Disc Lock-up. This is one part that I don't want to deal with again(lot's of labor for the swap). The Vigilante has a 2 yr. no questions asked warranty and they will re stall it one time for free. Most other company's only have a 6 month warranty from what I was told. Mike at full throttle is where I got mine... hope this helps. My car is a street car, with some track time, I drove it 710 miles to BG raced it all week and drove it home. The new converter makes it feel like it has 30 more horspower, and when you drive the car with out jumping on it you would never know that there is a non stock converter in there. Same gas milage down and back so the converter does not effect the mpg, which was 21.7 on the highway at a 70-80 mph clip.
