HELP with reverse?

Chris, are you still there? Albert and I just put a 400 together with one of your transbrakes, all forward gears work, no reverse. Is the lo/reverse checkball required with this valve body? Thanks, John Lynn.

no checkball needed to function.although you dont need to apply the brake to get reverse try pushing the brake button to get reverse.if itworks the mod valve is stuck in the case.push on solenid a few times

while the valve body was down I push on the transbrake selonoid and the valve in the case moves back and forth
