thats cool should run good.also they got webshots blocked over here so i cant view it but o well. and that 54 is going to be maxed in no time at all.
 
Went to Zimmerman's yesterday and saw 2 nice builds just waiting for a car to go fast in.:cool:
 
krom was one of them a 14 bolt block? just wondering if one of them is mine. i would like to see some pics.
 
Not yours!:) Machine work done on block, but not ready to assemble yet.

Both on stands are 10 sec. or better engines, one of them belongs to Lee.:cool:
 
thats cool. im just a poor man with a basic rebuild. also nick i have a front cover bolt coming to you. it was one of the bolts i couldnt get to when i changed to arp.

you guys suck. my hotair slug of a motor is still getting worked on. maybe the car will see 11's. hell i could just throw a 100 shot on it and then i might be able to keep up somewhat. probley run 10's if i did that. Problem is my bro has a 87 and he has basic bolt ons and his car runs pretty damn strong and my other buddy has a 10 sec 87 and i got all these mods and my car and it still slow. it sucks trying to take these hotairs fast. Humm only time will tell. She should run 11.6*-11.7* this year so im making progress. next i think i need to upgrade my turbo get a looser converter get a trans brake upgrade the drive shaft and get a XFI or a system that nick supports and start tunning big time.

don't lose the street drivability, unless you have another one to use,
my hotrod is fun, but just motoring down the street is a blast !
with out all the hassles of a race car,
I really enjoy the GNX, so smooth, so different too !

hey nick how far did the have to go on the bore? Kinda wondering how bad the cylinder walls where with that hurt piston.
 
did we ever get any word on the crank? was it good to go?

Hi Nick!I have used pt num. h521acp which is a hyper eutectic by felpro They come in all sizes including 020. They are coated & a replacement for the original.How much abuse they will support I'm not sure. But they are reasonably priced & I have used them on occasion without any problems. Lou
 
nick i forgot to tell you but im sure you have seen my "custom" water pump :) anyways just making sure she still stays on there.
 
man im always thinking about something. nick when i comes time dont put the intake on the motor im going to need to drill and tap some holes in it. I need to bolt the turbo to the intake and the fuel rail and see where i can drill and tap. i need to install a IAT sensor need to drill a hole for my PCV like my other intake and i want to tap 2 holes right below the inlet for 2 alky nozzles. just want to let you know.
 
just a bump for the hell of it. Also if someone can keep a eye open for me on a killer deal of (2) stock T-Type Wheels that would be Great. I bought some about 5 years back off a car that had 14,000 miles i was told but 2 of them are bent and i will not have them on my car. i did last year but i didnt have a choice. The ones on my car are not that bad but there bad enough. So if anyone sees a good deal let me know. they need to be in awsome shape as i wont put any junk on my car. thanks again
