There went an hour of my life totally wasted I'll never get back again. Now I remember why I quit watching those ass clowns after watching them once a long time ago.

I didn't like the clowning around in the show,it was like watching high school pranksters.

They need some adult supervision on that show. And who is Lou to disqualify someone after they win fair and square. If there was a problem they should have stopped the GN from competing in the beginning before airing the show.

Heck all they needed was a good running stock GN with a few upgrades; chip, fuel pump/hotwire kit,160* thermostat and that would have beaten those other 2 cars easily.

Felt like I was watching a skit, especially the GN "blowing oil everywhere."

I understood it as "irony" that Big Lou DQ'd the GN for having "performance enhancements".

I saw the initial flash edit when the GN pulled up. At a glance I saw DR's on the back with a taller tire. RJC FMIC. Precision billet turbo; looked like 4" S-shroud on the compressor side. The obvious braided methanol line. Possibly 3" up-pipe, larger throttle body. Nevermind the million gauge march.

A clean example, to be sure. I am dying to know if it was a forum member that unloaded it, or loaned it to them. I would be stunned if it wasn't.

I was a little let down that they didn't really talk about why any of the three of their cars were relevant, or give any background. They threw in the token T-Top joke and the token Monte Carlo joke . . . At least you could see Tanner and Rut gushing over it. They couldn't believe he even found one . . . a reaction I get every time I take my car to work.

For me it was fun to see 1 of our cars on prime time tv and both tanner and Rutledge knew the had no chance against the GN.

I agree. I was stoked when a buddy called to tell me the show was happening. I'm watching the Twitter thread. Adam claims head gasket. That photo has a puddle of oil coming out of the tailpipe. I don't see any coolant . . . I'd think any oil would be milky as Hell if it were a gasket.

I dont know why people think every TB owner is a member here. Any random TB person, fast or not, that I have ran into, knows about this website, but visits rarely if at all.

From Rut's Twitter: "detonation started it" and "bottom end was pressurized too, oil seeping through every possible place. Rings were toast too, knocking, etc".

Tune is everything.

If that's the case, how'd that engine not shoot any parts out the block? It shouldnt of been running at all, if it was that toast.

Someone rented them the GN for 5k & in turn is now getting a new/rebuilt engine.

This was the first ever top gear usa episode I've watched, and it will be the last. That show is Horrible...only thing that made it tolerable was the GN, everything else was just stupid.

Well if it was truely knocking that would have been heard on the camera.......

If ya don't believe me listen to the last gn from black air....that thing was knocking like crazy.....
