How hard would it be to find a factory white 87 T-type, black trim, 40-60K miles, manual windows/locks/seat, burgundy interior, solid roof, mostly original, show and go (stock appearing / low 12's).

What would be the going rate for a car like that?

Maybe 10-12K? I saw an all stock burgundy bucket seat interior WO2 white 87 T sell for 12K it had 40K on the odometer. I passed because I want the grey bench interior. However, this one had all power options and I see you want all manual:cool: those are more rare options.

how rare are the manual windows? Aren't the manual windows heavier than the power windows? The rest should be fairly available though.

*another thing about RARE..some things are rare because no one wanted them.

My 84 GN has manual windows and door locks...

I think manual windows are actually a bit lighter due to no power motor. Yes manual is more rare because no one wanted them, but some of us love them now.... I would prefer an all manual optioned car due to less headache of repairs.

its been awhile but I think I remember back in the early 90s when I was playing with Buicks back then that the manual cranks and hardware were much heavier than the electric motor system. I think Lee Howie was the one who weighed them...again this was a long time ago, I may be wrong.

There is nothign rare about that combo and should be an easy find. There are a lot of TR's with burgundy interior.

Good to know!
I am kicking around the idea of purchasing one, so if anyone knows of one like that for sale . . . . . . well, let me know.
